shit
Just saw the clip of Hannah Storm announcing his death on live TV. She was understandably very emotional. Gave me very somber flashbacks to when she announced Stuart Scott's death. Poor Hannah![]()
I thought the same thing. This one seemed rougher for her...you're never truly ready but at least with Stuart everyone had time to try and prepare. John came outta nowhere.
Thanks for all the years John, ESPN won't be the same without you. Rest in peace sir.
Oh come on

StarTrek.com is saddened to report the death of actor Barry Jenner, who played Admiral William Ross in a dozen episodes of Deep Space Nine across the sixth and seventh seasons, including "A Time to Stand," "Tears of the Prophets," "The Changing Face of Evil" and "What You Leave Behind." The actor, who was 75 years old, also provided the voice of the character in the video game Star Trek: Deep Space Nine -- Dominion Wars, and was a popular figure on the convention circuit. He died on August 9th, succumbing to acute myeloid leukemia at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
I did a double take when I read he was 75. He looked maybe 50 at the oldest during DS9...then I remembered that was 20+ years ago. I feel old![]()
RIP R2-D2

Fidget was my favorite Time Bandit.
Fyvush Finkel, who I remember from shows like Boston Public and Picket Fences.
probably wanted to get a head start on rolling in his grave
Heh I believe it. McLaughlin was one of my first introductions to the arena of national & world politics. And despite his abrasive manner he was one of the few conservative thinkers who you could actually reason with on a factual level. You don't see many pols of that breed anymore in the public eye.
