Stable means she isn't in an active threat of death right away. That says nothing about her actual condition. She could have very serious brain damage from having lack of oxygen for so long.

I want her to be okay, but those are some long odds, so don't count out 2016 yet.

Actually that's exactly what stable means.

CPR is used to keep oxygen flowing. It's not used to bring people back to life. If she's stable, she's good. They'll probably talk to her about options, how much tissue was damaged, and what to do from here on out.
