If they banned assault rifles you'd be perfectly fine hunting with shotguns and rifles. It'd be much harder to get a high score with those same guns or a pistol though. Not impossible, but harder. And that's all that's being asked for, to make it harder.

Yeah, they trolled Berniebros into not voting for the best chance to advance their interests in Washington. I wish more news outlets talked about the now facts that Russia targeted Bernie demographics as much as Trump. I'm extra peeved Bernie hasn't made a single mention of how his amazing ground swell of support in the primaries and after is a result of a foreign nation shilling for him so that the party he doesn't belong to could lose an election.

Because a few bad apples ruined it for you.

And because you have alternatives to do the hobbies you say you want an AR for. You don't need an AR to enjoy hunting, in many cases it's not desirable even. So why should their concerns hold weight when getting a high score in a mass shooting necessitates a weapon we would consider an AR?

Alcohol is not guns. Alcohol can't be bought by an 18 year old and then used to kill 17 people in a school. You can compare them all you want, but one is demonstratebly more dangerous then the other. Maybe in the future when the culture has changed and we can allow the ownership of weapons without them being used in dozens of shootings a month then sure, we can relax restrictions. But now? They're literally easier to get then alcohol, and whose only purpose is to kill a living thing. Beer isn't designed to do that, ARs are.

Pretty sure I heard that NRA lady keep repeating self defense, like it couldn't be accomplished without assault rifles.

No you wouldn't, because all evidence illustrates that it would saves lives yet it seems you aren't in favor of it. None of those items listed were designed to kill people, and then used to do that in a school. That seems like a pretty important distinction.
