While were on topic, I drove past the school yesterday. While it's not as tragic as the 17 lives lost, the amount of flowers dying in front of that school right now is staggering. Also, it's a 2 lane road where the right lane is now a parking lane cause people want to park there for pictures nevermind the parking spots a quarter mile down the road in the park.

My favorite part is where common sense legislation that in no way restricts responsible gun ownership is explained in the posts above, the gun enthusiasts pipe up and leave. Par for fucking course. Thank god the next generation of voters are fucking woke and not voting R cause this shit is beyond infuriating.

I can honestly see the Republicans getting seriously hammered down the road at some point. Their policies and and outright ignorant stupidity like throwing a tantrum for 2 years and cockblocking everything when they cant have their own way and acting the bollox like with that Supreme Court nomination is going to come back and bite them and from what I've read they're at serious risk of alienating and losing a huge chunk of younger voters because of shit like refusing to deal with gun control. Doesn't make the Democrats saints all of a sudden they have some of their own problem's and issues in the back but compared to the Republicans they're at least alot more saner and closer to normal politicians policy wise in other countries.

2020 could be very interesting because I could honestly see the Republicans getting hammered and losing seats both during the mid terms in November thanks to all this and during the 2020 elections. Bar some serious event I can't see Trump getting reelected, all the Dem's need to do there is put up someone competent and relatable and they'll easily beat Trump. Only reason he won in the first place is because the democrat voters stayed away from Hillary. If they get lucky and get a 2/3 majority they would finally be in a position to actually act on dealing with the whole guns issue decisively.
