5+ dead is a pretty solid rampage and the point at which Halo would recognize a killing spree. I doubt we'll see a running riot this entire school year.

Indiana is literally on the doorstep. Milwaukee is a good 1.5-2hr drive. Iowa too damn far for guns. Better to go to Indiana.
