Ammo sales are down across the market and won't see a recovery for possibly years. One of the main reasons was gun owners bought ammo in bulk during the last "they're going to take out guns" phase and haven't had a reason to restock.

Pennsylvania lawmakers have put forward a bill that would introduce an additional 10% tax on violent videogames. The money raised by the so-called “sin tax” would go to a fund called the “Digital Protection for School Safety Account,” in an attempt to raise security measures to help prevent school shootings.

House Bill 109, which was originally put forward last year by Republican state representative Chris Quinn, would apply the extra tax to those games that the ESRB rates as M for Mature or Adults-Only. After sales tax, that would raise the cost of a standard triple-A release from around $60 to $70.

MN doesn't have a law about online gun sales requiring background checks. As a result, there was over 28k gun listings put up in 2018. Everytown Research did a study involving online gun sales in Ohio, Georgia, Florida, and Tennessee and found that 10% of people who answered their ads couldn't pass a background check. MN's Republican party blocked all efforts to require background checks for online sales in 2018.

I've always been a leftist. I just used to lean center in my posts because I used to feel like it was the only way to achieve realistic policy advancements. Then I woke up one morning and realized how stupid it is to have any faith in the system at all. So now I just shitpost what I want to happen instead.

In reality I'm probably the closest thing to a radical socialist on this board. I just know that kind of thinking isn't going anywhere in the US anytime soon. I'll probably shift back towards realistic debate once we don't have a fascist in office anymore.
