you can bulldoze the current event with the BSB alone. the OSB paired with it will mean you'll have the damage to tackle stuff like the upcoming D250 torment dungeons.

It's also the only OSB to my knowledge that has native self boost on the sword as the other OSB's require in-realm use to receive the boost.

Agrias's OSB has holy boost without RS.

In terms of physical OSBs Tidus's is probably the best one until Orlandu's, provided you have the BSB and water boost hairpin, but those pieces are scattered across other banners making it more difficult to achieve than the other OSBs which generally have the corresponding en-element SB and/or elemental boost armor on the same banner as OSB.

Only had 2 X relics so I tossed 50 mythril at banner #2. Decently pleased with it.

OSB vs BSB, for the most part, are equal in damage. Someone showed with Cloud his BSB and OSB do almost the same amount of damage (counting his quad-hits until it runs out). If you have ability hones, OSB instant damage tends to edge out just because you don't have to mess with keeping up buffs/life to get the same amount. BSB wins though with certain builds since you can BSB and only quad attack once or twice and BSB again. This doesn't count weakness or certain boosts/RMs (someone was working on them though). Now, for debuffing BSBs, those probably win, just because their utility.

While BSBs and OSBs may be equal in damage let's not forget that one is instant while the other requires 4-5 turns. In certain fights keeping the enemy alive for 5 turns means you're gonna be barraged by AoE spam and in the harder fights that means attacks that ignore your defenses.
