Was hoping to get some 8 stuff but I pulled Cloud OSB to pair with Climhazzard that I had and Bartz air knife, already have his burst. Not going to complain about half price OSB especially since I can pair it with enelement.

Butzcalibur. Finally a natural 5 star sword for V although I can't imagine butz getting to use it personally with gilgamesh around.

Irvine's Bismarck(SSB),Laguna's Machine Gun(SSB), and Cid's Goggles(SSB).

Can't complain about getting 3 SSBs I guess.

Selphie - BSB

I'm very okay with this. Red and Selphie both give unique magic buffs. One with mnd and the other with mnd def. Cids is just attack I think.

also, red's buff doesn't give magic, it's atk/def/mnd. it's unique in that it can stack on top of a hand of the emperor style buff, but it doesn't do anything for mage teams unfortunately.

Contemplating giving up FFIV-1 for a pull on this and one other lucky. IV-1 is an OK banner but not great; more of a nostalgia pull than anything. Just thinking out loud here...

IKR? such a gamble, even at 25 mythril. you guys aren't making it any easier, posting all these BSBs and SSBs when I'd probably just end up with Revolver lol. although I would be ok with that; my VIII synergy is nonexistent, as is my VII. V on the other hand, I'm fully stacked.

I would pull. 25 mythril VS 50 alone. V, VII, and VIII VS IV. If you pulled 1 off banner on both, you're still 25 ahead VS the IV banner. OK and XIV are my next two big banners, personally.

Edit: there are a few odd banners. XIII can be skipped. Two group banners (Support Nightmare and Buff Lucky), Rematch Banner (?), then IV, OK, XI, Celerity Nightmare, then XIV. There are a ton of banners/mythril.

XIV I've got 100 on for sure. Might even make a rare cash pull on that one. OK I don't care about; the only other banner I'm planning for is VI-1. I would love Rydia or Kain BSB but don't really need either one; nothing else on that banner appeals to me. even nostalgia-wise I don't really care about Porom, Tellah, or Edward and I straight-up dislike Yang.

hrrrrrgnh not what I wanted, but not bad. I have an Aerith medica (reraise, which is nigh-useless but still a medica) and now I have my first physical blink. Cutting Trigger SSB is mediocre but it's my first VIII physical synergy piece, so I'll take it. overall almost certainly better than what I would have gotten from IV-1, and half the price.

edit: just found out that reraise'd characters do not violate KO medals, although they do violate "win without being ko'd" conditions. I guess Aerith's SSB, while still not great, is slightly better than I assumed.

Having at least 1 phys synergy is good. Reraise is an AOE heal but rr clears buffs so it's almost always un-useful, unless you want to die using a damage reflection soul break. Although against enemies with strong single target attacks in weak phase, being able to spam rr can mean you can zombie fights which has some niche value.

yeah, niche indeed. I'm mostly trying to comfort myself over drawing that VII WHM relic when I already have one, lol. it's like, yay phys blink but on a character whose medica is cura-level? IDK how useful that will be.


definitely stoked on the VIII sword though! Rough Divide isn't terrible either. it isn't good, but it isn't terrible. also, at least I didn't get a V relic, so that's nice. literally have no use for anything more from V except Sheepsong (and maybe Invincible Grandpa)


edit: also just noticed Aerith has SMN 5. that definitely gives her a few points, albeit only in certain events/battles

I find it to be incredibly useful when I pair Aerith with Yshtola. I keep SS up constantly with Wrath.
