I dunno, I'm on 7 pulls from banners since VI with no character weapon or 5* to speak of.

It just seems to be so ridiculously lucky to snare a SSB weapon every banner with minimal pulls. The probability is mind boggling.

I think Tyrath is luckier than Mistmonster because I'd imagine Mistmonster throws a decent amount of money/giftcards at it (judging from the frequency of his draws) whereas Tyrath seems to be getting this shit off 100 gem draws and normal mythril pulls. Could be wrong but that's how it looks to me.

Checking through 'Gained Newest', the last time I pulled a really good Relic was Planet Protector (First banner it was available). Haven't seen any SSB's or heavily wanted SB's since. So my luck has been shitty for a long time. My early luck was very good though so I can't complain too much (Got LH/Boon/PP on their first banners, melee heavy strat has worked on everything since)

at least you have SG, I still have none of the trinity. my only non-lucky draw unique weapons are gregs first katana and the soul sabre i just got (my lucky draws weren't even that great besides heroic harmony)

Yap. I have done a total of two 11 pulls from $$. Got Organix from one and Save the Queen from other.

My last few were Bartz sword off of the last event, feral pride, and then like 3 generic non soul break pieces. Before I got Bartz's sword, I think the last character soul break I got was a duplicate of Hope's weapon from the last XIII banner. Before that was Hope's weapon during black friday.

As a day 1 100% F2P leech, my last 5* items have been:

Zorlin Shape
Red Hat
Thor's Hammer
Scissor Fangs
Icebrand (V)

Of the Trinity weapons, I got a Sentinel's Grim and Guard Stick from the lucky bannerfest and had Vegas from the Blazefire banner. So much mythril burned on that event...

My current first world problems are while I've got some character relics, I have 0 SSBs and my only multihit character SB is Bartz' Blade Wing.

I was just about to post this then got busy at work. Tyrath is luckier than me. I think I have gotten 1 5* from 100 gem pulls. From the daily nothing over 2* from day 1. I might even have worst than Rata'a luck in that sense. That being said...

My first 11 pull with excess gems, so I'm happy, no extra $$ this time.

I feel they really need to balance out 3 and 4 stars, some realms are horribly unrepresented which means if you want synergy you have to pray for 5 stars.

3* synergy gear rivals shared weapons in power sometimes. I just think they don't have enough high level synergy gear unless you pull.

They really need to do something with 3 stars at the very least because I'd imagine for a lot of players any 3* draw is insta-trash.

Let us convert them to something, like I don't know but completely off the top of my head:

A random 3-5* orb (Have the same split as relic pulls)
Gems (Like 10-20 Gems per one)
Have the 5* versions actually work as Rosetta Stones
Stamina (1-5 Stamina or something)
A daily draw pull

Just let us do something with them.

XII is over-represented, VIII is laughably underrep'd in the 3*-4* pulls, not enough 3-4* ranged weapons, things like hairpins, gun arms and gambling gear make no sense and should just be generic ranged items.

I wouldn't even mind pulling 3* drops if they could actually you know... up my synergy. Shields are an instant drop / upgrade fodder, most of drops are repeaters and if I never see another Rune Staff again I'd be the happiest Cloud Keeper on Earth.

Is there even any I, II or IX 3* gear? I can think of 4* gear but not 3* gear. Well I can think of some 3* gear but it came from events and I don't think it's pullable.

EDIT: Actually I can think of 1 for FF2, Ripper, but that's it. Oh and Diamond Mace.

I'd agree with that. The majority of junk I pull is almost always XII synergy.

This is specific to global too, because I've pulled dailies in JP and gotten dozens of different items from mythril clip to seeing others pull the PSICOM rifle.
