I was desperate, and they've really been throwing mythril at us - and it helped that I didn't pull on the half-price banner, or the III-2 banner. I'm glad I only had to pull twice.

I'm confused. What were you going for?

Assuming you listed your pulls in order, your first one seems to have been the one to stop with.

I've had no FFVIII mage synergy ever, other than Edea's thrown weapon - my goal for this banner was Shooting Star.

IDK what you're smoking that Jacket is a absolutely fantastic piece of Synergy Armor... High DEF/RES plus the bonus of Attack+... those light armor types are amazing

Jacket is a bit unexciting but it literally snowballs because it self buffs further casts. Hard to get an imperil though since the only phys guy is Lag I think? Which is thematic but not very useful?

the number of almost amazing but ultimately fake-out pulls i've been getting is out of control

also: why the hell is his burst the one thing squall gets that doesn't involve ice?

You can't be faked out by OSBs because their orb is different from the 5* rainbows.
