In a game that preys on nostalgia, I don't want to use an original character.

I think Tyro's ultimate versatility is slightly overrated though. Chances are that for anything you would use him for someone else can do it better outside a few niche combinations (which have never sprang up for me personally). Wall aside, I can't see a scenario where I would ever use him over a named character. I guess he's good for Nightmare dungeons but even then I wouldn't use him unless I had his wall.

I never take the little fucker out of my group. Native wall pretty great. I'd rather deal with Tyro as my healer/support than using quistis as a blm for example (and SG + mighty guard make a pretty damn amazing combo in ultimate fights)

Is there any overlap between phase 5 banner and FFT? By that I mean can I pull on FFT, and if I get Platinum Sword, do a few more pulls on Phase 5?

If not I'm gonna do 2 pulls on Phase 5 and 4 on Tactics. I figure of I don't get what I want after 4 pulls I'll just hold out.

Nope. According to in-game, phase 5 is available through 4/4 16:59. FFT goes live at 4/4 17:00.

I'm only doing a single x11 pull on Tactics because the trash drops terrify me; I'll wait for Scream to come back around and make due with the 35% attack boost from Tifa unless I hit it on first go ;s

Sorta my backup plan myself, seeing that we get another tactics event made me decide to not hoard as much (assuming we don't get platinum sword at bssbfest) and the still lack of natural haste and cura+ medica made me use my mythril more on SSBfest then I originally intended.

I don't think i'll pull for Agrias, game telling me hard to keep steiner as a main knight

Yshtola is kinda stuck in one role though.

I can use tyro as a healer. I can use him as support if I want to use Aerith for planet protector as for a physical build. I can stick full break (or break fever when that comes out) on him, etc. Yshtola may be better as a pure wall WHM, but Tyro is a lot more flexible and works with many more set ups. And in my planet protector build, with a synergy weapon, tyro's damage output even in the support role is pretty damn high

I see, exept maybe plat sword i'm honestly not super hyped about FFT, Agrias has good skills, but DenA gave me both Steiner's relics, and steiner can get synergy while Agrias cannot. So i'm not sure to pull for her or save for Relm banner 1 and 2.

But we know my luck i'll get agrias stuff and nothing for Ramza
