It was at the end of December for Japan and we're usually 6 months behind I think so pretty much yeah

Fests are always 3 months apart, so yep, with skipping some collabs, we'll probably be around the 14 event when we get it. With that said, they may remove platinum sword and replace it with one of the new ssbs, like they did with our fest, or probably pair it with Yuna bssb and some really old relics (more revolvers! ).

I simulated 9 x11 draws for Kirin. He ended up with:

Defender +1
Nu-Kai Band
Ice Rod
Chameleon Robe +1
Grand Armor
Kaiser Shield +2
Platinum Sword

I just tried the same and ended up with a ridiculous 6 5* draw so laughed and shut it back down (Plat Sword, Grand Armor x2, N-Kai x2, White Staff)

Between now and the end of Tactics there's about 30 Mythril to be gained right? 7 for Tactics, 10 for Relm, 12-14 from daily login?

So if I needed to gain 63 Mythril, I'd have to get 33 from elites. At approximately 81 stamina per run that's 2673 Stamina plus FFT and FF6 stamina. But that doesn't include stamina resets. So sounds doable.

Ugh, deciding whether to roll another 50 on Banner 5 is torture (I'd be rolling for SG, Peacemaker and Garnet SSB)

small correction: there's 10 from tactics, some battles have mythril as both first time and mastery reward.

10 from Tactics, 10 from Relm, 12 from daily (to be safe), so if you do two refreshes to hammer through elites for mythril (assuming you're above 150 stamina) you should rack up 5-6 there. If you do the remaining ones every day (say you have 25 dungeons left) you could grab another 20-21 mythril with refreshes before the event ends.

This will put you at anywhere from 50-60 mythril, assuming we get no further bonuses.

Actually had 189 Mythril and extra 3 from Tactics so that eases it up by 5. I have 39 Elites to clear so the dungeons are there, it's just actually clearing them.

Think my decision will come down to the wire as Divine Guardian isn't as advantageous to me as I thought since I already have major regen and hastega covered (Gilgamesh and then LH/Boon or hopefully Ramza), stackable RES is obviously great though. Sentinel Grimoire would allow me to just RW Ramza too. Ugh.

there's also a chance we can get the mythril from new ++ dailies, as those came during the relm event in jp. whether we get it in time before the fft banner ends (if at all) is another story.

Honestly, you have an hour to pull SG. If you have >150 mythril I say go for it. You'll still have four pulls for tactics and it's only 50 mythril. Wall is important, and you can always use a RW for Shout.

Worst comes to worst, use your namesake.
