Got Stargo's rod. I have a pretty good physical team now though so can't see much use for it unless there's a multi enemy boss for ff6. Could stick it on Rydia with meteor/maudin and hit 9999 pretty easily

I guess it'll be good for that tentacle boss when it shows up again in the future. 4 targets ad one of them is vulnerable to KO.

Why pull on first one? Isn't banner 2 much better for Celes weapon? Or is Shadow's SSB that OP? If I pull I'd only pull for Shadow's weapon, the others seem "meh"-worthy to me.

FINALLY got Battleborn. Can focus on the Hall of Rites RM2/3's going forward now.

Rata needs a Medica, so it makes sense he's going after Relm's since it cures about 20% more than Yuna's.

I'm in the same camp. Between Unique and Shared I have like 3 Medicas. I'll wait until Celes' banner to blow that Daily 50 mythril in hopes of True-nic.

Yeah, but he HAS a medica, he has Selphie's Trabias Light, which even though is a generic cura (h50), is miles better (i.e. 700-1k more hp healed) then just having a shared medica (c35) only (like me! ). Also, Ichigeki is balls deep awesome, did 70kish instant dmg PER use to the 99 difficulty holy dragon with max debuffs and Shout. The fact you can stick ace striker and lifesiphon on him to spam it makes it the highest burst dmg SB.

I pulled banner 1, will probably pull a second time because I am desperate for a second piece of the trinity. I already have Terra's horn and if my Tactics luck is to continue, if I pull on banner 2, I'll get 3 5* and two of them will be the fucking horn and the third an off banner.

I'll probably throw some mythril at Banner 1, my mage synergy sucks. Strago's Rod and even Relm's brush would help with that. Relm's brush though only if I could get a Mattack/Haste SB like Kefka's Cape in 2nd banner. Shadow's katana is nice, but more just a bonus or anything for me. I have plenty of melee SB's.

You should also consider future Cid missions and Relm is the only FFVI healer with an AoE cure right now. And Shadow's SSB is instant cast.

That is a decent point, but it is coming back in BSB fest in 3 months unless I'm mistaken. Celes SSB on the other hand restores ability uses for an awesome character that gets access to Knight 6*. I'd rather pull in a hope to get that, and if I don't get it, pull for it when it returns on Celes BSB event. In addition, it increases the holy damage from her BSB and Saint's Cross.

Moreso than you guys pulling the featured 5* gear, I'm more surprised by the amount of 4* items I've never seen drop.

Just did another 50 pull on Tactics banner. Got spellbinder (my third), Grand Armor, and Kaiser Shield. Think I came out okay lol. Makes up for no luck on BSBfest banner 5 and previous 2 tactics 50 pulls I guess. Might try some more if I can get enough mythril...but I'm currently at zero.

Sabre Soul is a def/res break, which is great for both mixed parties and stacking atk, after soft cap you want all the def breaks you can get your mitts on. Strago himself isn't great but at least he can faith himself, although is probably a bad sign when that's the second most notable thing he can do in this scenario.

Actually there is one more thing - armor selection. Shields give him access to a certain + lightning shield, light armor helps him not die faster.
