Got 2 Genji Blades. Would you smash them together?

My FFV synergy is decent-ish I think (Brave Blade, Genji Blade x2, 3x 4++ Axes, 2x Healing Staff). But the only SSB's I have are Gilgamesh + Sephiroth so Seph would have to take the katana in FFV realms if I used them both.

In that case keep them separate although Gilgamesh can use Brave Blade as well. Either way works I guess.

It'll be a great armor piece once we start getting darkness skills, since the armor enhances dark dmg.

Well, the Ninja experiment as a AoE user to level in orbfest is done. Takes way too much damage and only dishes out ~2k even with all mag gear around 50. Had to egg him to 65 and brought Strago up to 50 for the last leg. Only Spellblade and Dragoon left, minus Monk from the DU and Devout to 65.

Has anyone else played around with Orthros yet?

I R3'd it and have been very happy with the damage so far. In Yuna's +++ I was getting around 16k per use with synergy gear, devotion and full break. I would imagine with mental breakdown and a +mag buff that I could get some really high damage out of it.

Ninjas need roughly 300 mag to one-shot the orbfest mobs.

Decided to smash them together because I just rolled a Thor's Hammer too. So that would leave me with a 6* Genji Blade, Brave Blade and Thor's Hammer on melees in FFV.

Had enough Rosetta Stone to get it up to 16 augments too. So it gives Sephiroth a 145 attack weapon for any realm since weapon coverage seems to be his weak point.

Yeah I figure. I wish the pull #5 woulda been 25 mythril for the first go like the firs two were. Not having much mythril stinks. I have enough for like.. 1 11 and 1 3 for Tactics.

R2, close to R3. I'm happy with it on 1v1 encounters.

Okay, after all this fun (plus FFT), what RW do we want? Yuna regen and Boon have clearly been replaced by MGVIII or Garnet's Divine Guardian (which is +50% RES so stacks with shellga).

True. I figured with buff and double regen, it would probably overtake Yuna pretty quickly. But I did forget the initial heal.

Minwu's will of the white mage is a pretty good AoE cure for a RW. It's an instant cast curaga level heal. As soon as you hit the RW icon your party is healed. Great for those oh shit moments.

The very next event after FFT will feature an SSB heal with curaga potency + high regen, so HotF will be outclassed at that point.

Are you sure about this? I'm almost positive that I've had Clear Tranquil and Will of the White Mage still have the normal RW casting time.
