They get you because you don't realize how much you are spending. I actually saw on my credit card how much I had spent on it over the last year and I was horrified. And that was just from doing the 100 gem pulls and the very infrequent 300-900 pull.

I mean really when you look at the figures, it's kind of ridiculous. A ~10-12% chance at getting a digital item for $30. But they prey on the gambling instinct and people not realizing exactly what they are spending their money on. Even though I know how bad it is, I've still tossed a couple of dollars here and there at it which have seriously added up. I'm done now that I've actually seen how much I have casually thrown at the game in small dribs and drabs.

Like can you imagine if when you went to the videogame store they said spend $30 for a 10% chance at getting this game and 90% chance of getting games worth nothing.

I was exclusively doing 100 gem pulls and looking at my Google Play history was frightening considering I've gotten 2 generic 5* drops out of the ENTIRE time that I've done 100 gem pulls. I had swore them off for a very long time but bought gems for the festival banners and was as usual, shut down. I get pissed about the $1 I dropped on each banner for the better part of last year; I can't imagine the whales out there.

The reason I don't(didn't?) buy gems is because the principal of the matter is that it's money I spent on games that could have been spent on actual games; not just a chance at digital shineys. $81 sure seems like a lot to pay for a F2P game and I ONLY did 100 gem pulls. lol

Decided to change my setup since I noticed that I may keep Tifa for boostga and just use Garnet's Divine Guardian as an RW instead, also noticed that Zidane's SSB is actually same dmg modifier overall compared to Laguna's SSB, so i'll bring him with R2 TR (unless I need a status debuffer, then Laguna is my go to guy!)

I think she's the most viable THF for me to take along for stuff since I have Clear Tranquil. Only other THF I have a SB for is Locke who is baller but Mirage Dive is situational. Clear Tranquil is obviously amazing
