Tested Exploding fist (5 hit .50, 20%crit rate)vs. TR (1-5 hit, 4 on 65 Zidane, .70) against fake Yuna with Shout/Burning Fist boostga and debuffs and as expected, it does 1k less per hit, unless it hits a crit, so was decent enough dmg (17.5k total) to make me R2 it. I know the new 6 star mnk will beat the crap out of it, but at least now, Tifa has a decent dmg ability for half a year.

I'd probably legitimately be pissed if I whaled the FFT banner with real money and found out that the rates weren't the same.

Well the complaints were expected to begin with because this was a highly anticipated and hyped banner and has been for months. Now add the fact that DeNA screwed us over with pull rates to make more money and there you go.
At least this time I can totally agree with them despite having pulled the two relics I wanted from all this.

Or like any business, doesn't like to reveal gatcha information. Even if they didn't change them, the average player would likely be outraged at the normal numbers.

The sneakiness about it is quite objectionable. Especially the secrecy to the drop rates.

The fact that they "can't reveal" the actual FFT drop rate to dispute players when in the JP client gacha rates are clearly displayed speaks volumes about the double standards they employ

They don't necessarily have to post exact percentages, but here in America gambling is supposed to give odds. It's why they post rates in Japan (because legal issues came up).

Freemium isn't regulated here, and that's the real problem. No consumer protection.

FFRK jp report came out, jp events are: FF6 Celes dress record > X-2 featuring Paine, Rikku dress record and Yuna dress record reissue > FF8 featuring Irvine/Edea Record dive > FF Brabra (music symphony event) Collaboration. This month's Abyss is WHM #2. They also stated more multi hit 5 star blm spells will be added as well as 6 star bard ability.
