JP SSB lucky banner got put back in and I think they changed it to a 3 time use like how the Tyro Selection is, it has a 3 in the corner with same symbols as the Tyro Selection.

It's only a 1 time use banner, it grayed out once I pulled. I think the 3 means that its the third in the new series of themed lucky draws (since we had debuff and boostga themed lucky banners previously)

This is also going to be the first event to feature a character MC3 in it (unless Onoin Knight's MC3 is simply added to the Hall, not sure yet). He also seems to get his own fragments fpr Record Dive and some sort of additional EXP bonus in FFIII realms (not sure about this one but there's something special going on looking at the event images).

Should I be honing Dark Zone? I really don't have any users with relics other than Golbez, who isn't even 80.

Save off honing and using it till you get a magical character with Endark, its a good spell but pretty soon down the road we're gonna start getting en-element BSSBs/SSBs for mages/physicals and Multi-aga spells that will be better off honing/using depending on what you draw.

new FF3 relics are out and Onion Knight I think won best BSSB, +30% ATK/MAG buff and Hastega (which Alkar already mentioned earlier) with ATK command: 4x ST Non-Ele PHY DMG and next physical action is instant cast and Defend Command: 4x ST Non-Ele MAG DMG and next magical action is instant cast.

Edit: Onion Knight through RD system is basically the FF3 Tyro in terms of Core Abilities, he gains Support5, Combat5, WHM5, BLM5, Nin5, Celerity5 and the best part seems to be that unlike Tyro, he doesn't have shit base stats, for example, Cloud has base 209 attack at 99, OK has 209 attack at 99 as well, his MAG is also on par and his SPD is 175 at 99, so fully developed, OK I think is the best character out there now.

Edit2: Luneth also gets big ability buffs too through RD now, he gains Support4, Darkness 5 (gained Darkness 4 as a balance change), and Spellblade 5, he also got Drg 5 as part of a balance change too as well as able to equip spears and Katanas and an ATK increase.
Other character changes were Ingus ATK up and gains WHM4 and Combat4, Desch ATK/MAG up and gains Machinist5 and Support4, Refia got ATK up and Arc got MAG/MND up.

Also the 2 new abilities they added was a 5* knight that is 2 earth ST hits and draw fire and large DEF up and a 5* mnk ability that is 2 fire ranged ST hits and self small % of health healed.

Edit3: Also another fun fact about OK, he is the first character outside of Tyro to be able to equip everything including books.

wtf, OK seems so OP. Sure, he lacks access to 6* abilities and knight, thief, dragoon and darkness, but he has access to 5* in all of the major categories on top of a kick-ass BSB, great stats and all armor.

In how long does he release in Global?

6 months. And yeah, he seems OP but let's not forget that he gets most of that stuff through Record Dive. I haven't checked his board yet but I'm quite sure it's gonna take a long time.
It also requires special fragments for some parts of it I believe and I only see them obtainable from the Ahriman fragment boss (how I don't know, they're not listed as rewards.. maybe drops?).
