I saw this and it pissed me off more than you can imagine... I thought the entire point to this fucking event were those rewards. I guess I can be happy for some Orbs but *sigh*, just feels so watered down, hype dead.

Nope, was still able to S/L when trying another attempt tonight at doing Cid Mission for Ult+.

You can probably add login bonuses on top of that, I'm sure we're not getting those either.

Kinda surprised Reddit isn't up in arms over the seemingly raw deal we're getting atm, 50 mythril and an orbfest seems like a huge deal to me.

True, we may still get it to go hand in hand with 4th of July (would be silly though since Global includes Europe and other countries as well) and even if we end up getting the missing mythril later, at least it'll be saved for next fest and certain great banners (Greg BSSB for one). I'm just worried they'll give us weekend orbfests to make up for our missing one.

Actually never mind. Found the answer right when I made the post.

Bonus: when boss has weakness..

.. in this case the corresponding spellblade would supercede Lifesiphon. Hitting weakness +50% to SB gauge, so a fira blade would deal 360 potency and grant +90 SB. Lifesiphon in this case would trade 180 potency for a mere 60 SB, which is very unlikely to be worth it even if you have SSB.

Dumb question... what's the allure of banner 3 anyways? I don't really get Tyro's BSSB since he rarely has enough charge to maintain wall, let alone wall and BSSB.

Tyro can equip lifesiphon so he can have enough charge to use both, also its not Tyro's BSSB that makes Banner 3 interesting, its everything else, Selphies SSB is still one of the best healer SBs (Yuna's Curestock SSB Medica will trump all later, as well as Eiko's Crit+50% Curaga BSSB). Ichigeki is still a great burst SSB, Lullaby Rod is still a great medica aoe on a FF10 Waifu character, Wutai Headband is also a good aoe heal not tied down to MND and the rest are good synergy pieces. So this is a good banner to go toward if you are looking at heals.

Tyro's versatility is the allure. I mean, I could save up and go balls-deep in the next banner (4 or 5) and get myself SG but Ysh will be 80-able soon and I already have Wall. The only use would be if I got SG and KT. His Burst is pretty good on its own, whether you think it's obsolete or not there are few characters who fill the spots he can fill under the right circumstances.

Equipping Yuna with Pulse Kindness (heal with attack in stead of damage), then using Farplane Wind (grants EnHoly) crashes the game the next time you use the Attack command.

Hummm, that might be why I wasn't all that impressed with #3. I have a few decent Medicas from the WHM nightmare so I'm not all that worried about missing it. Thanks.

Go in to "Menu" and"Support" they always get back to me quickly even if they can't do anything with what I'm complaining about.

Edit: at least quickly, but they seem genuinely concerned with bugs
