True, we may still get it to go hand in hand with 4th of July (would be silly though since Global includes Europe and other countries as well) and even if we end up getting the missing mythril later, at least it'll be saved for next fest and certain great banners (Greg BSSB for one). I'm just worried they'll give us weekend orbfests to make up for our missing one.

Well, Global did get Black Friday exclusive stuff and thats kind of NA exclusive to my knowledge.

With how generous DeNa has been recently about apology mythril for simple typos and obvious ability errors, I have a really hard time believing they simply forgot about the mythril rewards from Big Bridge. I would wait and see after the event ends if we don't hear anything along the lines of "Wow Keepers, you did such an amazing job ridding the Big Bridge painting of the Void Here's 20 mythril for your trouble."

I'm waiting for BSBreakfast to end, to see if I get a great relic and I'll boost that person with motes.

I'll probably be using my motes on Lightning once they add her to the list. Bartz would be #2 since they've got my good (B)SSBs. I know some people seem to be creaming over Onion Knight, but I find myself rather indifferent knowing I'll probably never get a good SB for him, anyway.

Im kind of in a "wait and see" mode. We don't really start getting motes until Shirtless Sephiroth event I think. I'll probably evaluate which to use them on then.

The safe option is Tyro, tbh.

Tyro is a waste to use motes on imo, he won't because magically better, and with CM his use will be less and less important

As for my side i'm waiting for maybe a BSB or something like that, atm none of my good characters can be record dive afaik

I'm waiting to see if I get any BSB's from the event. Otherwise I'm moting Celes, Bartz, Kuja, Ramza and Lightning, as those are characters I frequently use.

Only moting Tyro atm, 3* motes don't really matter since in a few months we'll have tons out the ass, its 4* motes we should be hoarding and even then only hoard them for characters you use that can gain new abilities from it.

And man this is really first world complaining but none of the banners this festival interest me because there's so many duplicates on there (2-4 per remaining banner and generally ones where dupes are useless). Especially on the ones where there's certain items I want. Guess I'll just 100 gem and wait for Rydia since my synergy there is non existent

More people get added each event, so for example, on shirtless Seph event, they'll add Sephiroth/Cloud and I think Aerith to Record Sphere, then on Rydia event, they'll add FF4 characters, etc.

I'll probably tack this onto the post I made about 6* abilities in the beginner thread so its not lost, but if anyone is planning to save for 4* motes for OK (don't worry about 3*, we'll be swimming in them by the time he shows up), he'll require: Vitality Motes: 62, Dexterity Motes: 22, Bravery Motes: 27, Wisdom Motes: 52, Spirit Motes: 52 to max out completely. Also you need 12 OK 5* Motes, 5 of which you get from Cid Missions involving leveling OK, 1 you get from Ult+ Battle, the other 6 you can farm from the FF3 Mote Dungeon or the FF3 event exp dungeons.

Hmm forgot that tonight is when we'll see what Squall's OSB will be and the new FF8 BSSBs will be, i'll edit this in 10-20 mins with what is mined and posted on Reddit.

Edit: I'm predicting Irvine/Quistis BSSB and Rinoa/Laguna BSSB.

Edit2: Crap, just realized I thought it was already the 29th in Japan, but it just turned the 28th here, so its still the 28th there We'll see the Squall OSB info tomorrow.

The theme of Squall's OSB event is Knights and Sorceresses so I think we'll see Seifer and Edea Bursts instead. But hey, anything can happen.
