They both require 30k

But my question was with how much 1 fight gave me points

In resume vanille I needed 10 fights and bartz only 2

Though btw, given that I literally leveled all of these guys at the same time... it would seem that SSB and BSB level at close to the exact same rate.

Hmmm might be that then, I know OSB is 10k more then SSB so I assumed BSB was 5k higher then SSB, last time I got a BSB was Leon and that was ages ago .

Pretty sure SSBs are 20k and not 30k, cause SBs are usually 10k-15k

Edit: Jesus Christ, finally found info on Reddit and I am wrong, it is indeed 30k for SSBs/BSBs/OSBs. Rediculous how there is near to null info about the numbers.

nah SSB is definitely 30k, i'm in the process of mastering all my 'fest SB's right now and i got a few supers i'm currently finishing out.

I know this email response from DeNa was posted a while back, but someone posted it again after asking when we will be getting Orbfest, so i'll copy/paste the response in case people still haven't seen it, it implies we might be getting weekend orbfests as compensation for it being removed.

While sadly I cannot disclose our release schedule to players, rest assured that our development team understands how important an Orb Fest is to many players, and a plan to bring this event back is underway. Sometimes the releases of these periodical events can be changed due to many reasons, and major updates like the one we just had can be one of those reasons. Please stay tuned, though, as I'm sure it will be back soon!

I don't think it implies that we're getting weekends for compensation but that the actual event was delayed due to the Record Dive update. I hope we're getting something in July

So what's the best way to use tyro now that I have wall? My party comp now is cloud (bssb) ramza (shout) relm (heavy medica/regen) tyro and a floater based on need. I'm guessing a breakdown and life siphon and just spam away?

i have a pretty similar setup, relm/ramza SSB's, auron is an auto-include and then locke for DPS #2.

not sure if it actually makes any sense to run the full trinity, but i reckon i can throw him in the flex slot for fights with awkward medal conditions, give him whichever skill plus an offensive breakdown or something. also very nice to have for nightmare bosses since you get auto synergy and a useful native role, frees up your RW for something much more helpful.

Tyro's flexibility basically gives you 2 floaters. Ramza can dps and support. If you are using dancer multi break because of multi-boss or something that frees up a dps ability on Ramza, etc, etc. When I play on my friend's account with Tyro, its usually not too difficult to find a way to keep him charged up but that is one thing I would recommend; make sure he is in a role to do something each round. I don't mind when my heals twiddle their thumbs (they usually have mog/mako RM) but if you want to keep wall up he needs to keep up the ability use to ensure his bar is charging.

Full Support and fulfilling medal conditions, don't even need to bother with Lifesiphon since even with full breakdowns, he can still get a charge up in time to recast it.

I hope Faris gets her MC3 next in JP, i'm gonna be so pissed if she is the last one of the FF5 crew to get it since she's my only maxed RD character with all her SBs on my JP acct, so far the only FF5 chars that don't have MC3 is Galuf, Exdeath, and her.

Occasionally I will have to bring LS on Tyro to keep Wall up but it is rare. Mainly bosses that have a lot of single target abilities in the earlier phases and how your DPS lines up with phases changes. Like the others have said FB + MBD/PBD or medal conditions most of the time. I only bring Tyro when I need medica and have to drop Y'shtola.

I dunno since I have all three of the trinity I have little issue picking an RW. Now that Ysh has her medica I'll probably pick wall as a backup. Since she's a RDM support I usually will toss a breakdown on her.

Having tyro as a backup would be great but I'm starting to see my party is fine how it is.

They're running out of new bosses for FFVIII lol, this last event in JP features the witches you face during Time Kompression. Hopefully we'll start seeing final bosses soon enough.
