It's actually the other way around. In Japan the format change for events happened before the greens.

New info for the upcoming XIII event:
-Valkyrie Lightning reissue+ XIII-2 Hope dress records.
-New skills: Evil Count (Darkness)> Damage boosted when doomed, 2 hits single target and -3 to doom counter. Double Spellblade Fulmination (Spellblade)> 2 hits lightning damage.

Is it just me or did they screw over physical teams really bad with these new ultra hard battles in jp? On the level 200 greg fight, squall's osb boosted with en-blizzard (+80% dmg), +30% weapon damage RM, shout, full break and 440 base attack doesn't even crack 30k damage, when I typically hit 60-75k on event U++ fights with the same scenario. I can't come anywhere near close to winning before I'm dry on hones.

Seems like mage meta is the way forward, at least for now, as the MAG soft cap is really high thus buff stacking has significantly better returns than ATK where soft cap is met with just shout or onion knight bsb. Unfortunately I've got jack shit for mage hones, but I did pick up Ashe's and Rinoa's bursts recently, as well as Papalymo's new mage shout.

To be honest, it's always felt like the game has favored mages. Shout just skewed perception until difficulty really caught back up. It sucks, but I also feel it a general consequence of the 2 ability restriction.

Well I just unfortunately learned today I won't have internet back longer then I thought, I thought it would just be till mid August, but it won't be till end of September that i'll have it back, so i'm stuck going to the library for the game and other work. Bad news is though that I can't access KBP and my other resources cause apparently it triggers the library firewall >_>. So i'll still be able to put up threads for events as they come, but they'll be lacking tons of info since i'll only have reddit to copy and piggyback off of for info.
