All to R3, but only one of them. Should I just hold off for the new 5* abilities coming up?

I have R2 dark zone with like 3 major non elementals away from R3 as well. I have Golbez armor and an uncapped XD.

Power Chain or Full Charge. Definitely not Tornado Strike. TR maybe if you have the relics to support those characters.

I don't think I have a single thief with a relic other than Thancred.

Full charge is the most versatile for cid mission purposes. Every realm has combat 5 chars, many with the ability to self boost in the event you cant bring a boostga.

Full Charge can be used by about 50 characters so I would suggest that, then Power Chain.

Faris BSB is full breakdown, so it stacks with other breaks like full break does, so only full break will overwrite it, ATK command is Magic Breakdown and DEF command is Power Breakdown, so they will stack with the initial cast of the BSB.

Faris's BSB is a 40% full break (compared to the 30% from the full break skill) and the burst commands are equivalent to breakdowns. The BSB overwrites (and is overwritten by) full break, as are the commands with their respective breakdown skill counterparts.

following from that, faris' atk/mag break SB (or others that share the same buff ID, e.g. cleansing strike) should stack as well. i imagine you'd need to use wrath + SB+ RM to cycle both without dropping them.

you could also stack auron's banishing blade with those since it's -atk/def with a distinct buff ID, and vaan's upcoming BSSB (-mag/def) will also stack with everything else listed here.

decided to spend some of the event mythril on stamina refreshes to bank extra greens and get a full team of 65+ for FFV, should hopefully be able to take down some of the CM's for this event now

Yep and eventually we'll reach the point of unique debuffs being a regular part of banners too, plus we will get soon enough a lucky banner that is nothing but unique debuff relics.

I guess Lenna should officially be considered my Waifu since Pride of Tycoon dropped she is the only character I have all SB's for, lol.

oh and you can throw irvine's canister shot in with those as well. i knew i was forgetting something!

so altogether, you could hypothetically have the following concurrent effects:

atk/mag/def/res -40% (FBD by way of Faris BSB or Fran SSB)
atk -40% (PBD)
def -40% (ABD)
mag -50% (MBD)
res -50% (MnBD)
atk/mag -50% (cleansing strike)
atk/def -50% (banishing blade)
mag/def -40% (ark blast)
def/res -50% (canister shot)

if you use sea lord's broadside instead of cleaning strike the potency is reduced to 40%. not sure how that would total out on a resistant boss if you had everything up at once, but it's a shitload of mitigation/wallbreak at any rate!

best part for me is the only piece of that hypothetical setup i'm missing now is vaan's BSSB which hasn't released yet. i'm really curious to try it out now, haha.

Ok, guess I'm going mage meta in JP now lol. Alphinaud+Shantotto+Papalymo with their SSBs is a lot of fun, murdered U+ Bartz. With the +90% MAG buff Shantotto was capping on Chain Blizzaga without debuffs.... think I'll take Braska for a ride and see what his SSB can do in this team.

I'm sadly stuck not able to play JP FFRK until I get internet back at the house Apparently Mobage is getting blocked by the library firewalls as well and causing it to not load the game, may be tempted when I come back to just reroll my account and start fresh since my old account has crappy SBs on it (strongest relics are Cloud/Squall OSB and Faris BSB).
