in farming stages i've been running 3x50 with exp RM and a fourth low-level carry. whenever they hit 50 i break them, sub the highest level in the party at that time for a fresh carry, rinse repeat.

For WHMs, Flower of Trabia. For BLMs, Black Mage's Awakening. Great for auto 5/5. I usually keep an AoE, either in RW or character, just to burn the 5 cactuars.

The reason was that was the period between Christmas and New Years, so it was a celebration for New Years, this was originally a Holiday Orbfest for JP.

Got 4 Gigantaur up to date, 3 dropped MIO one dropped MSO

I started yesterday with 167 stamina, used 1 refresh (to do all the orb + Materias first time completion)
had 167 stamina this morning and used 1 more rrefresh

how are people leveling their characters for this? bring 2~3 weaker characters and a raise in case they're hit? or egg them first and bring a party of level 45~50s?]


I only have so many eggs. not sure how to plan this out for maximum returns. maybe like 1 major egg per level 1 character to bring them up to 30, which should be enough to survive a hit or two and even contribute to damage a little. IDK, I'll experiment and figure it out.


wish I had more MC1s and MC2s saved up :/ this shit is nuts! I only have like 10ish MC1s from when I played back in the day. zero MC2s lol. I think I'll bring as many characters as I can up to 50 at least. that should cut down on future egging

When I was in your shoes, I would usually setup my party with at least one AOE Physical (Bladeblitz/MNK/SAM work), one BLM/SMN with Spring RM, and one WHM with Raise. Then you can carry 1-2 characters, just put them in the back row and put the HP+500 accessories on them. You can also throw the Revive, 2* support ability, on a higher level character if need be or just skip raise/revive and S/L if you have the time. Eventually the carries will become the AOE characters and just repeat.

Eh Dena is weird like that when it comes to talking about BSB/SSB/OSBs as a whole, I believe they just call them in bulk Super Soul Breaks since all relics that add +stat when mastered are considered Super Soul Breaks, also there is a image linked to the post about it including BSB, but can't see what it is due to the usual firewall bs.

IMO even if it is 25-mythril a draw - which I don't think it will be given that text isn't on the banner - this is a total trap. There are going to be a TON of outdated relics in the pool and before you shout "STAT STICK", you're not going to be able to guarantee you'll get something for a realm you need a stat stick in. (I mean, if I get one more V Staff...)
The quality of banners is also about to take a drastic uptick, making targeting in on certain realms/ability pools is going to be much easier in about a month, regardless of when G5 comes.
Unless you're all honed up with current AND future abilities, 25 refreshes is going to be way more beneficial in the long run unless you get stupid lucky and pull 4-5 BSB/SSB relics for the right characters.
An easy skip at any cost, but nice of them to try.
