Also one refresh netted me two major orbs so far, and one was a major summon.

Can't farm them normally and we've gotten very few from Events over the last several months, plus there are alot of good 5* summon abilities coming like Ultima Weapon, Titan, etc.

Well I'm not convinced because it's still called a Lucky banner after all. Let's wait for it to drop. Also this "could" be a trap yeah but I have like 2 BSBs and 7 SSBs total, that's enough reason to pull from this. If it's full priced I'm skipping for sure.

There will be. We're gonna get Titan, Ultima Weapon and Tiamat in a few months.

Considering we finally got a wind mage in JP, we better start getting not just her, but the aero line of spells too soon.

We got the Stone line, I guess it's only a matter of time :/ Although not adding Garuda in the FFXIV event was silly, not sure why they had to pick XII Tiamat lol.

When I was in your shoes, I would usually setup my party with at least one AOE Physical (Bladeblitz/MNK/SAM work), one BLM/SMN with Spring RM, and one WHM with Raise. Then you can carry 1-2 characters, just put them in the back row and put the HP+500 accessories on them. You can also throw the Revive, 2* support ability, on a higher level character if need be or just skip raise/revive and S/L if you have the time. Eventually the carries will become the AOE characters and just repeat.

thanks for your tips! I don't have most of that (my RMs are... limited. lol) but I'm mostly using the 2* Revive with Curagas and placing my low-level chars in the back line. with one 3* growth egg and some decent armor that's enough to (mostly) keep them alive as they level up, and even contribute a little to the damage. I didn't think of using Bladeblitz though; I'll have to hone one up :3

Just break down some major power orbs. You want there to always be one healer/tank and one DD. If both can use aoe, great. I generally try to bring someone who has more than one school.

Fenrir Overdrive RW friends are really handy if you don't have a lot of stronger aoe abilities.

I try to keep one blm in the party with a haste RM. You can generally blast the enemies with quake, ruinga, or meteor before they act. Leaves room for 3 exp RMs and a carry if you need it. Smn/sam/mnk/mch can do the same thing as well. You'll need higher hones w/o a refresh RM though.

I have almost no RMs. so I'll have to experiment with the orbs I have and see what I can pull off. Kick/Bladeblitz/BLM spells should help a lot; I think. if nothing else I know how to set myself up for success the next time, however far off that is :3 worst comes to worst, Revive at the last minute seems to be a viable strategy, if not optimal.

I believe zidane's first rm is haste (if not it's #2), which you can get him and his mc1 from the current event. The other haste RM comes from Luneth #1 I think.

ha, I didn't even realize. that's awesome, thanks! I have Zidane and the MC1 so I'll just egg him up a bit and go from there. that helps a lot. don't have Luneth MC1 yet sadly, and no lodes left
