i've been getting more MBO than anything this go around and i need wind more than anything else. already sitting on more than enough major black for R3 dark zone and chain blizzaga. if i can get to 60 major wind i can stop there, 12 more coming through events between now and early september and i can live with waiting a couple weeks to finish actually honing stuff.

I cant get enough MPOs... I want to rank 3 Powerchain and Fullcharge, but after 20+ stamina refreshes today and yesterday... only 24 Major Power Orbs... total.

Good news is, All FF9, 12, 5, and Tactics characters are level 80.

I have no idea how people have virtually everyone capped, there's someone on another forum I go to that has everyone capped and all RM's.

Over half those 80's were done this orbfest too. I've basically only just managed to get everyone I have a relic for up to 65+ and those with good relics to 80. There's like 2 or 3 which are still at 50 but they are unusable/inferior relics

Up until now I was purposedly keeping my A team/better relics below 80 so I didn't waste Exp!

Depends how you play.

I never let my stamina cap since day 1. I use levelling teams in dailies
I sometime refresh in sundaily

Of course I used some eggs

People like that usually use mythril to refresh Sundailies to keep everyone level capped as they come, plus those that splurge mythril refreshes during orbfest also get capped people more easily too.

Since Double Burst will come in about a month or so and we're now racking up crystals to make abilities, I updated 6* ability post in beginners to include what abilities use what crystal as well as a crystal use chart so you can determine what abilities you want will conflict with or not when using crystals.

I think capping everyone you can instead of people you want to use is probably a key ingredient to reducing longevity of the game. That's just me though.

i started orbfest with 21 characters at 80 and i've added another 21 as of this morning. also sitting on enough conversion fodder for both powerchain and full charge to R3 now, still a lot of wind orbs to go though and i'm down to 2 mythril left to spend on this phase.

About a couple months back(around the time ++ dailys came out) I started managing my mythril so I could EXP characters on Sunday. I was averaging about 15 mythril every Sunday, once I got to the point where everyone was capped out and the only things I could EXP were what DeNa gave me each week. My mythril expeditures went down depending on how many characters I had access to EXP each week. If I only had 4 total, I usually spent about 6-7 mythril that week. If I had 6, it usually cost me about 12-13. This is also spamming daily ++ in the morning until every one was capped Instead of waiting for the evening. I honestly could probably shave off another couple of mythril by just using my stamina through the day and waiting to spam until the evening. But I get anxious on Sundays lol.

Basically, I make sure I always have what i need for Sunday EXP and anything past that is useable on whatever banner I choose to use it on. And this tactic has been working fine for me. This last week though, since I've been caught up with EXP minus the events, I haven't had to use a single mythril since orbfest is in effect. Although, I may need to use a few next week since we're getting 7 characters.(3 from FFT, 3 from Dissidia Part 2, and 1 Lode 2 from the Nightmare dungeon.)

My mythri plans for this week include Lucky Banner and Banner 2 of FFT. Hopefully, luck is on my side, but if not, oh well. Mythril actually accumulates fast enough that I can usually still pull a banner every other week, even on weeks with slow mythril.

Just quickly tallied up and I have pulled somewhere in between 110 and 120 5*'s from relic draws (approximate as I fed some for augments). That's obviously not including 5* that come from events or freebies

Well, some people have just been EXP'ing on Sunday daily since Day 1, I though have only been playing for about 7 months. Shown by my Tyro acquistion time on this chart:

Which is why I started using mythril for EXP, I had so many characters I needed to EXP, and I wanted to have them all leveled. it wasn't going to happen naturally with how little I had been playing the game.

But, after I sort of got caught up, I liked the routine so much I kept going, it still allows me to pull on banners decently, but lets me keep characters EXP'd as well. I usually just have to pick and choose my banners. But that's usually not that hard, since I generally know what I need most. Since i end up leveling everyone nowadays with this tactic, I usually force the remaining RM's that didn't drop doin 2 stamina dungeons as well, I figure I might as well.

Right now, the only character I have locked behind Lode2's are Laguna and Quistis' 80 cap. But I'm sure there will be an MC2 dump soon, lol.

I actually still spend most of my mythril on banners, between login bonuses and events you get way more than 15 mythril a week. so if you limit yourself to about 15 mythril/week on Sundays(give or take) you will still accumulate mythril for banners. Just pace yourself. Save around 15/mythril a week for Sunday. Once you catch up you won't even use more than about 7-13/week on EXP. Even less if you wait until Sunday night to spam mythril for EXP and use the day's stamina regeneration to EXP with, as well.

Keep in mind also, the EXP in dungeons is a total EXP count, split between how many people you bring, so the less people you bring in, the more they get overall.

Also, another cool bonus to keeping everyone capped. Whatever banner you pull from you can't predict what SB's you're going to win,(if any) it's all in the cards, so to speak. I'm sure anyone here will agree it's pretty annoying when you pull a nice relic, but can't use because it's for a character you still have at LVL. 1, thus you can't use it anyway until you bum rush him/her up. At least, if you keep them all capped that's not an issue any more.

i'm at +34 on MPO right now, but that's counting the one-time rewards and also i have no idea if any of those came from dissidia/12 events. i could've been +40 altogether but i opted to hone my dismissal and 3rd lifesiphon to R4, heh.

Isn't really anything on that banner that could convince me to throw 50 Mythril at it. Maybe Arc or Leila's if it was half price purely because I'm lacking in those realms.
