I'd definitely take any Excalibur I can get. More realm synergy and holy boost for my PLD BSB; and even if I pulled another one, I already have 20 stones in it, so I wouldn't mind Excalibur+

So i just counted thanks to Reddit's mythril calender

If we don't count today's daily mythril and if we add Tactics mythril (since the event didn't start)

We should have about 109 mythril when Celes BSB event start

Please not that this number can change due to
1) the 2nd daily login date that can bedifferent to people)
2) that number counts the possibilty of DU24 being released, if DU24 is not out then it's -16 mythrils

Unfortunately it seems so far that it will be full priced when it comes out, there is no mined images or text suggesting its a half price banner Which means when we get to where JP is now, there are better banners to use mythril on.

Celes BSB is great, i had enholy, and etc and she get'S knight 5* so Saint cross access

Celes BSB is a party buff of ATK & MAG +30% and stacks with everything else (that is Shout and HotE clones) plus it gives Celes Enholy. Her commands are both very similar: 4 hits ST fire/holy and 4 hits ST ice/holy.
However soon after many others will start getting similar buffs so it won't last long (Edward and Gordon to name a couple). I'd still rate her SSB much higher simply because it's incredibly unique.

Yes but it's usually overkill. When we start getting lvl 99 characters and OSB weapons you'll easily hit the soft cap with Celes BSB only (which is why OK's BSB is considered the best in JP right now).

Super overkill for me since I have native shout; unless they raise the attack cap lol. I'd have trouble fitting that into my party

I almost use both when i can and I usually go something like

Tyro MBD + FB
Ramza LS + PBD

Unless mob is entirely physical or magical

Assuming you use mog teachings on Ramza, you don't even need life siphon tbh. 2 breakdowns or breakdown/full break is enough to maintain shout permanently. Only use of life siphon is if your breakdown hones are too low to use as a damage source or if you have hail of stones (which I do) and value being able to use it once or twice in the fight more than you do whatever you can put into that second slot.

I like to squeeze in armor breakdown when possible, pairs nicely with shout. and I think the party gains more damage from it than me being able to use hail of stones instead of using every charge to rebuff shout on Ramza
