I never bother capping people unless needed for a RM. It's just wasted exp when I actually use them. My Cloud is 79 and currently on standby to let Lightning and Squall get exp from tough fights.

took Beatrix to 50 today. All the exp that it took to get her from 1 to 50 to Red XIII from 65 to 68 (pretty close to 69 though), toplol

So Banishing Strike seem worth honing to R4, what about Armor Strike's utility going forward for Knight characters?

All these new 4* melee abilities are killing me. Wanted to start on Samurai abilities but noooooo Paralyze Shot, Banishing Strike and Armor Strike.

I dunno, I'm gun shy about honing anything past 6 abilities since most fights don't last that long.

I've yet to tinker with Armor Strike to see if its defense mod makes it more tempting than some other attack ability. Banishing Strike kinda seems like a no brainer, though, especially with how some bosses like to buff. Holy damage alternative to Dia or the RM is just a bonus.

New music was recently uploaded by DeNa to jp FFRK database, notable among them is FF3/5/10 Final Boss themes, doubt it's that significant, but its possible we might see final bosses as misfortune+ event fights or sometime after april DU (feb-april jp DU was already mined).

So assuming we get the SSB around the 20th (which is a big if) I'm thinking my 4 MC2s will be Lulu, Aerith, Bartz, and Vivi based upon upcoming events.

Why are you chosing? That event doesn'T seems like you have to chose who to unlock their MC2

They have 8 released into a pool but you only get 4 to unlock during the event. Then from what I understand future events begin to add to the pool and give you more opportunities to unlock from that pool. Similar to festival we got during December.

So you get 4 free MC2? because the event doesn't list MC2 as a potential reward

Hmmm the 4 may come from the anniversary event whenever it comes.

I'm so behind. I need to get Cloud and Tyro MC2s before anything. I couldn't even do the fights last go-around since my account was so new. And I outright refuse to reta my way through content. Have no idea who to use the other 2 MC2s on (if I'm able to clear them). Suggestions besides FuSoYa for MC1? I'm just about to start DM13 though clearing older elite content in the meantime.

Out of that list Vivi, Lulu, Vanille, Hope 100% of the time. BLM life.

edit: Unless any RMs are worth it. Hmm. Guess I should look into that.
