Bartz, Gilgamesh, Aerith definitely as I use those guys all the time. Then either Vivi or Locke, have relics for both so will have to decide from there.

So this might be a dumb question with regards to mechanics of damage materia.

With how they work by adding damage after the initial dealt damage as shown by the enemy hp bar moving a 2nd time, if you hit for 9999 and you have a 10% materia boost, do you hit for 10,998 and 'break' damage cap or is it still only 9999?

Hope and Vanille for sure with me.

While it made me grumpy at first that I got their relics because I was aiming for someone else. . not going to lie, Oerba's Boon has been. . well, a boon in some fights. Brutal Sanction isn't that bad either, plus I like that Vanille can swap between casting and healing. Diaga bombing crap's saved my ass on some fights.

If I could actually get a relic for Greg, he'd be up there for me. Wish I could snag one for Locke, too.

i have gregs katana so I'd probably break him. plus he can equip pretty much all weapons so he's always down for synergy

Locke is probably my only definite since I have his Mirage Dive weapon. Like others, though, I'll be in wait and see mode.

Bartz: Chance to double cast Spellblade abilities.

Aerith: Moderate increase in healing done by White Magic.

Lulu: Moderate increase in ice damage.

Vivi: Attack will sometimes become “Ruin”.

Locke: Moderate damage increase when equipping Daggers.

Vanille: Attack heals HP instead of dealing damage.

Hope: Moderate damage increase with Black Magic when equipping Thrown.

Greg: Recover 1 Knight ability use at the start of battle.

Relooked at the ssbfest banners and assuming they don't fuck it too hard, thinking of dropping a 50 on locke's banner, his ssb and him getting thief's raid looks like a sexy combo.

^ Started my jp acct a month ago and have 10+ MC and have used 7ish so far, the game gives them away like candy once they add them.

I think it's hilarious. They can't change the banner but the least they could do is refund half the mythril instead of refunding 1 per pull.

Wasn't it just a typo in what was available for 1 weapon? Drop rates weren't affected iirc.
