The vast majority of people weren't under any delusions that vegas were available and thus the refund had to be small. If it isn't pictured on the featured banner, there is no drop rate increase and the pictures were accurate. Now, if the pictures were messed up too, then there would be actual reasons to complain and I would bet a larger refund would've been given. The only slight exception are lucky banners and that's only because they can't put a picture of every single relic available in the banner without it going on for a looooooooooong time.

SSB Celebration during the anniversary. For us that would be next month BUT they've always changed those banners for Global so it may be removed.

While it does suck this may be the only time to get it, we do get her ssb the 2nd ffix banner after this (Kuja Event) thats 8 hit physical and magic blink, so still a chance down the road for a better relic for your fav char :D.

I mean, most of the allure behind the sword is that it has MND+ and a Sap soul break. I wouldn't break the bank for it, because there's like a 90% chance of it coming back.

Also, I find it odd due to RNG and all but I really don't feel like the drop rate is 12% on these weapons.

I know its pretty dumb, its just one of those things where its like "I gotta have it!!!" I'm already trying to get over it, blew some money and pissed me off lol. Some reason it feels like that weapon has the lowest drop rate, I've gotten everything else on the banner... The only thing that will suck is that it will come back in another banner but w/o the double drop rate? Or will it still have that.

I think someone had emailed DeNA and they basically admitted that "better more desired weapons" have a lower drop rate.

I keep seeing in GameFAQS and Reddit, that the big items on the banners are 1% (like the non-shared/better character relics) while the rest of the stuff is more likely 12%.

...what? The only thing you might be potentially confused about is that on the JP version, the better weapons (SSB/BSSB) have 1% drop rates whereas the 2nd tier char relics and generic banner drops have 2% drop rates so in a sense what you're saying will be true in the future, but it's certainly not right now. 1% across the board on all banner items; no more, no less. RNG is RNG.

Adult Rydia and Yang event in jp! Rydia is featured and gets no bssb and no new sb! First banner is cecil bssb, rosa ssb (large aoe heal + magic blink), kain ssb 4 hit ST and make jumps have 0 cast time, also Edward gets a new sb, aoe mag+ and hastega.

I made it R3 for the Beatrix fight. It did really good damage. All I did was sub in a DEF body piece instead of a helm and I was hitting 9999 with buffs.

Don't be. Exdeath is way easier compared to Ultimate and Leviathan isn't that hard if you bring reflect and Draw Fire+Retaliate to remove his physical attacks. Trash is annoying in both though.

Technically, it should be around the end of February or early March. But with the anniversary coming up relatively soon it's hard to say if they'll switch some stuff around. For Japan there was the usual 2 week gap between DU 17 and DU 18 (the one we're currently on). DU 19 didn't show up until a month and a half later, after the FFVII-AC event. The Abyss-Ultima fight was out before that. We are slightly (about 3-4 weeks) ahead of "schedule" so DU 19 might come out before Abyss for us. I wouldn't worry about there being a lull in content though.
