At this point, I'd say whomever you have SBs for that you like. I still say we haven't gotten enough of the shit for the system to even matter, but then again, I dunno how much this event will pay out in the end.

no clue what i'll do with mine, probably just sit on the motes for the time being. the only monk i have with a really solid SB right now is galuf, and invincibility mode conflicts with stacking attack buffs so it's not a terribly good fit for him (iirc he'd need north of 500 base attack to get to 4hit under peerless and 5 is flat impossible).

I'm one to keep 1 copy of everything. I'll shatter 4 and call it a day since I do have a few Monk SBs.

After having pulled Tifa's burst, I think I'm going to r2 lifebane. 470 base attack + dragoon's determination + shout + burst mode makes a 5 hit lifebane, and i have a small handful of realms i can pull this off in.

Looking at all known future 6* skills, it doesnt seem like there is much use in shattering all 5 copies as the useful 6* abyss skills are all bottlenecked by orbs which can't be obtained through shattering any of the event skills, nor are lifebane's orbs of much use in honing any of the other useful skills from this event.

Do we get more of these motes in the future events or is this a one time thing?

It doesn't make sense to me for this to be a one time thing but I wanted to double check before I start making decisions about what to do with them.

one time for those 'job motes' when you have created the skill it uses Crystals as honing

So far this is the only source of the monk motes, but they have started reintroducing the job motes in jp recently with the brutally challenging level 200 "nightmare" dungeons, so im sure monk motes will eventually turn up in those, though they're only paying out 30 motes for a first time clear of those dungeons.

We don't for monks yet, and since I use monks the least and the abilities I do use are more about damage control and less about damage I broke all my copies down.
