I decided to use some of the free mythril from today on some refreshes. I wanted to finish off the one ability that I've wanted for a long time. -110 MPO, -165 MWOs, +1 R4 quick hit.

I've been working on RMs lately. Got Paine's 30% Spellblade damage one, Braska's Summoner's Resolve and Rikku's instant auto attack one.. need to go through and see what other level 65 chars I have that have RMs that are solid.. ugh.

Looking forward to unlocking P. Cecil to 99 tho!

Grats! I wanted to do that one as well, but the sheer amount of wind orbs needed is painful.

It took a really long time to come up with all the orbs. This was the first time since Braska's event that I've spent any wind orbs. I'm so low on wind orbs that I can't even make 1 major now.

I haven't really felt the need to hone any of the other abilities since I have most of the good rank 5 abilities that need wind at R3. I know that chain thundaga is coming up but I have a really poor selection of BLM SBs and 6 BSB/SSB celerity 5 users. So I decided it was time.

Event news from JP:

-XIII event featuring Fang OSB and Vanille's USB. Also includes new BSB for Lightning and a BSB for Sazh.
-II event featuring Emperor Mateus. Guessing Firion's OSB and a bunch of new BSBs will be included.
-VI event featuring Celes and Locke (most likely giving them OSBs). Also includes a realm specific exp dungeon.
-IX event featuring Beatrix. Likely OSB for her and maybe an USB for Garnet.
-WoFF collab with the two main characters being added as playable. Also includes unique SBs for them.
-Halloween campaign with themed items.
-Dailies reset: difficulties will be changed to 4 for each type (Easy, Normal, Hard, EX) and two new dailies will be added to the mix (EXP daily will be added to Tuesdays and there will be a Summon daily). This makes two dailies per day assuming Summon will be on Sundays.

Can someone clarify something for me regarding record materia?

I just got Chakram Arts (Deal significantly more damage when a thrown weapon is equipped.)

If I give this to say... Rinoa (I've had Ascendance equipped on her(Deal slightly more black magic damage when a thrown weapon is equipped)) with her wrist rockets equipped will it increase any damage she pumps out? be it Physical, Magic, or Summnon? If yes then I can just toss Ascendance away into the vault never to be seen again yea :D?

SO MUCH YES. summon daily, awesome. multiple xp dailies, awesome. and a boatload of free mythril and major orbs, w00t! (assuming reset = new set of first time/mastery rewards)

Yeah, generally if it mentions "increases damage with X weapon type equipped' then it just means physical damage.

Though don't discount all those entirely. Items like Reno's RM increase physical and magical damage for rods at the same 20% I believe.

Reset means exactly that. Considering the dailies will be significantly changed all rewards will be obtainable again so that's 56 mythril total under the new format. It's also possible that they'll sneak in other changes like orb drops (maybe EX will finally start dropping crystals?).
I guess you missed it but Fran got her Burst during Vayne's event in JP! She has a 5 hits AoE Full Breakdown burst with Attack turning into a 2xST+ Power Breakdown and Defend becoming 2xST Mental Breakdown.
It's also possible that WoFF collab gets released here later this month as well (or next month like FFXIV back in the day) so there's potential if those relics are good. Won't help with CMs though as I assume they'll have either Core or FFI sinergy (latter would be much better imo) but there's always RW.
