Yeah, generally if it mentions "increases damage with X weapon type equipped' then it just means physical damage.

Though don't discount all those entirely. Items like Reno's RM increase physical and magical damage for rods at the same 20% I believe.

Ok, that makes more sense so as long as the character has a thrown weapon equipped attacks and any physical damage dealing ability get the boost?

Reset means exactly that. Considering the dailies will be significantly changed all rewards will be obtainable again so that's 56 mythril total under the new format. It's also possible that they'll sneak in other changes like orb drops (maybe EX will finally start dropping crystals?).
I guess you missed it but Fran got her Burst during Vayne's event in JP! She has a 5 hits AoE Full Breakdown burst with Attack turning into a 2xST+ Power Breakdown and Defend becoming 2xST Mental Breakdown.
It's also possible that WoFF collab gets released here later this month as well (or next month like FFXIV back in the day) so there's potential if those relics are good. Won't help with CMs though as I assume they'll have either Core or FFI sinergy (latter would be much better imo) but there's always RW.

Gotta say, I'm impressed with this Cerulean Shock SB. It's the only shared SB I've had next to Dark Shot that actually capped in a 120+ dungeon (on vulnerabilities, but still).

I can't even get my 7* Tiger Claw to cap.

Fran's new burst is actually AoE penta-break (-30% atk/mag/def/res/mnd) which stacks with full break and breakdowns, so this one is significantly better than the full breakdown SBs.

-Dailies reset: difficulties will be changed to 4 for each type (Easy, Normal, Hard, EX) and two new dailies will be added to the mix (EXP daily will be added to Tuesdays and there will be a Summon daily). This makes two dailies per day assuming Summon will be on Sundays.

I'm conflicted about if I should stick to Minwu's SSB or switch to Aerith's BSSB for my RW. They're the same potency, with Minwu being instant cast and Aerith coming with extra damage and burst commands which may or may not be useful depending on who uses it.

Similar problem with who I take into dungeons, because while Aerith is likely better overall, giving up that instant cast aoe heal from Minwu is going to be painful.
