I have no idea who I'm going to spend the MC3 on. Ramza, Luneth (solely for the RM), Faris, or Bartz most likely. Not in any rush to use it; not like the MC3 expires. Although I probably want to use it before the next festival.


Honestly, I need to get my experience+ RMs before I even think about the MC3 (I don't have any of them yet). And I'll probably go with Luneth anyway because I'm so far behind XP-wise, so he's the most urgent.

speaking of XP, I need a lot of record materia and in order to get them I probably want to have the exp+ RMs. should I use a MC2 lode on either Relm or Luneth (or both)? I'm definitely using a lode on Cid and Palom because their MC2s aren't coming back anytime soon. Luneth is about ~2 months away and Relm is a couple weeks after that, so I'm less certain I want to lode them. although I haven't grabbed any of the Nightmare lodes yet and we are getting them pretty regularly through events.

thoughts? fwiw I have two MC2 lodes right now, and only one relic for any of those four (Relm's medica).

Humm, I suppose the extra day in between events was worth it. Managed to finish off the DU and will be ready for FF9 event tomorrow night. Still weary on whether or not I can handle U++ though. I'll probably scrub it with Hope BSB again but even then, I only have 1 mag 5* stick so not even sure if I have enough synergy to do even that.

Gold Fes. And the main reason is the gold knights that spawn as they only drop gil and roulette chips. Overall there's less EXP and orbs dropping and it's not worth refreshing.

Gold knights were the best you could hope for as long as prizes remained in the roulette mini game as you could usually score around 2-3 major orbs each time on the roulette wheel with the chips, but totally useless to encounter afterwards with its chips converting to around 2500 gil (which significantly devalues refreshing) and no orb drops from them. You only needed to see the knights an average of about 2x a day and do all of the other gold fes related events to have enough chips to get all of the prizes which was easy to do.

If you're getting through with 65s, I would wait until you hit the wall where that 65+ would push over. Like you said, they don't expire. As long as you run daily and hit Sundays, you'll be fine. Personally, I go based on how likely/often I use the character (SBs tend to decide that).

Damn, thats disappointing I was hoping to cap the last 15 or so characters I need to 80 with the next fest.

I actually egged Cid to 50, and Palom to 65. luckily I found out that Cid's RM2 doesn't require a second level break so I was able to save one MC2 lode. I used one on Palom though; no regrets. I'll wait on Luneth and Relm because two exp+ RMs should be enough until they come around.
