I think the maintenance is there for Multiplayer Beta, don't see what else possibly requires the game to go down. Hopefully we get confirmation soon regarding WoFF collab although it would be silly to release the login bonus now without the event.
that would be neat, but don't they usually do maintenance at the end of each banner cycle? we're on the last translated weekly event since the last maintenance so i assumed that was par for the course.
Zidane's RM works for his OSB, which is pretty nuts.

So, someone on reddit did some testing that Zidane's OSB works with his RM4 ( Thief DMG+40% ). So question to those who do math. Does that make his OSB the easiest to cap on damage?

The mage OSBs are easier to damage cap on anyway. I have Ashe's OSB in JP, and I hit 99999 with it without weakness on D250 content with 2 30% buffs, 30% thunder RM, enthunder, and burst mode. I can't even get halfway to the damage cap on any of the melee OSBs I own even with relevant en-spell, 1-2 element boost gears, and 30% weapon damage.
Orlandu doesn't have any way to enspell himself natively, so while he gets the best multiplier of melee OSBs (20% higher than most), he loses out on a potential +80% bonus damage unless you RW an enthunder/enholy, so its probably not the best one to attempt to damage cap with.
EDIT: As for the question about whether Zidane's is easiest to cap on in if we are talking in terms of physical OSBs, I guess that depends on if you think that having 4 ladies in the party is 'easy'. Zidane's multiplier before element boost gear/enspells with the 1.4x RM taken into consideration is 17.92. The second best I can think of off hand would be Lightning's at 17.55 with 30% RM after 4+ uses, and most melee OSBs without a conditional multiplier would be 15.6.
I think it's worth considering in Orlandu's case given how broken he is in general. He can easily carry a team on his own if you have his OSB so using a RW just to buff him wouldn't be a terrible idea imo. It's true that most characters can Enspell themselves but that still requires 1 bar that could be used for a second OSB cast. Mages overall are better but I thought we were talking about physical ones only, my bad.
Edit: I suppose if we're talking about characters with self buffs only you should consider any character with a Burst that also has the appropriate Enspell effect attached. Zidane needs to use 2 bars to achieve this so he's not the best candidate sadly but characters like Pecil and Cloud will be able to do just that.
