It was part of the FF3 event as an optional dungeon, it's main purpose was to farm onion knight motes for his record spheres.

Are the gold fest banners the first celebration banners that havnt been changed between global and JP?

I know the banner themes kind of prevent changing, but I'm sure they global could have changed some things if they wanted to, Like Kimahri, Palom+Porom, or male/female character options.

I'd think using an Ashe BSB RW on a darkness mage with 3 stop lockers and a support would be the way to go on omega, and devotion would beat those two RMs in that case. Just something to think about before spending 24+ major eggs and an mc3 lode for a very situational RM.

yeah out of the theme banners the vivi/hope one is the best imo, and i've already got 3 relics off that. whole series is a hard pass, same with the revenge banner. still aiming for tidus OSB1, and hopefully i'll be able to do a pull for kain's burst as well.

also i didn't realize luneth was getting buffed to DRG5, i feel a lot better about egging him to 99 now.

Which is the point, why waste mythril just for 1 event. Especially when it's proven that synergy gear doesn't help as much as hones.

You'd be better pulling on directly Kain banner for full price imo

If you need FFIV sinergy save for the IV banners later this month. Godly BSBs there (Kain and Rydia).

There is a point though where having *some* realm synergy and okay-ish hones is better than no realm synergy at all. It also helps to chase realm synergy on really good banners (Greg 1, Tidus OSB 1, etc).

But yea, if youre needing IV synergy then just wait a minute and pull on Kain's banner. The pool is way too diluted to be chasing specific realm relics from the Revenge banner.
