I'm sure the devs are having a good laugh at all the wasted stam by ninjaing a target score that isnt the usual "don't die" or some variation that has been in every basic event stage for the past year+ into a single stage fight lol

The target score is exploiting lightning on one of the terminator mobs (which appears on the front row of wave 2)

Seriously, the paralyze spam in the last half of the MO U+ is just ridiculous. I really want a paralyze resist accessory after these last 2 MO U+ fights.

I thought runic only absorbed one spell like in FFVI


just found out it absorbs every absorbable spell for the next 25 seconds.


shit, nevermind. bitch don't need lifesiphon! runic is OP in the right battles, I understand why now.

Runic absorbs most AoE spells. I mean everyone else gets hit, but Celes will be standing clean and +1 ability charge.

Yeah, that's absolutely nuts. I can see how OP it is now (in certain situations). No regrets spending that extra 50 mythril now; no regrets at all!

And with spellblade 5, the design idea is that she should be hitting weakness for the double SB gauge boost instead of relying on lifesiphon.

Yeah, runic here is only enemy spells, and infinite white and black magic. No NATs and AOE is self only but whatever. Being able to spam snowshoe strike and later the 5 star spellblades is ridiculous. If she had com 4 then she could siphon chain infinitely so perhaps it's for the better she has to rely on vuln to stay afloat...

With Knight 5* she doesn't really need Lifesiphon, Gaia Cross can cover that if the enemy has some single target attacks on top of magic spells.
She can also cover every single elemental weakness except for Dark (well... technically she can with Black Magic but that's not easy to fit in).

Yeah, I suppose it's balanced. Lifesiphon is unnecessary for her. Now that I understand how runic actually works...
