Here's a way to access the roulette WHILE being in a dungeon ( I dunno if they are easier steps but w/e this work)

1) Go to the ability hone page
2) Chose an ability to hone (the ability must not be fully honed and you must not have enough to hone it)
3) click the Daily dungeon blue button in the 'hone page'
4) click the current daily day (aka friday) (this will bring you to friday daily)
5) Click Back
6) Profit

So some early mathcraft for those wondering if its worth refreshing.

This fest is somewhere between dailies (12-13ish stamina per greater orb) and last orbfest (6ish stamina per greater orb) settling in around 9 stamina per greater orb. The roulette prizes help somewhat, and are not included in those totals, but obviously have increasingly diminishing returns the more you refresh and drop to almost irrelevant once you have enough chips for all the rewards (103k or so).

The middling math of greater orb/stamina is enhanced if you need 2 or more of the orb types in each phase. Id say if you need all 3 types in the phase then refreshing isn't too bad an idea, but dont go crazy like last time.

I'm convinced the wheel is rigged. Giving the number of pulls I've done, I think odds are I should have hit gold at least once by now.

I actually don't think ive ever hit a red tile either. Its easily 90% silver with 10% black.

i've had a few majors and a 4* mote in 60 spins but nothing fancier than that.

It doesn't matter because once you've cleared the low tiers the game will be forced to give you the rest of the stuff.

It does because if you dont get Golden Knights and when you do you only get normal stuff

yeah but orbfest lasts for like 2 weeks, so as long as you farm it consistently throughout, you should get enough chips by the end where it won't matter. nothing is really time-sensitive except maybe the mythril and MC lodes.

i think i'm sitting on 2 unused MC3 lodes right now because i can't figure out who else i want to break. i want to uncap rydia and faris but they won't get theirs for 2 more months.

You'll get more than enough chips to get everything as long as you stay in Orbfest for the next 2 weeks or so. That's why all events have been delayed/extended past the normal dates. We might even get more chips from the 4 crystals thing, who knows...

I'm not really worried about chips since I'll be doing some refreshing during P3. I'm sure I'll end up with plenty from that.

I'm just glad that orbfest is here and I can farm a ton of wind orbs. I still haven't recovered fully from making R4 quick hit and I can finally R3 the other abilities that I've had to put off because of it.

Didn't realize how broken Orlandeau was. Considering skipping OSB, pulling once on ff14, then just saving the rest and going ham.

His SBs themselves are great, but his ability usage omg. Knight 5, Samurai 5, Combat 5, Celerity 5, Spellblade 5, Darkness 4. That's busted AF + he his OSB and SSB are both ridiculous.

I want at least one, if not both of them and Orlandeau makes a permanent spot on my team.

I really have no idea who to level. No fantastic SBs on the sidelines at the moment. I don't know what I'll get from Orbfest-1 (if I pull) and XIV-1. So mostly just catching up on MC2 broken people who are still sub-80, and finishing off Luneth for that sweet sweet XP RM. Feels like a bit of a waste, but IDK which low-level characters I'll want to use in the future and XP is XP so meh.
