isn't the octopus already a summon in Japan? I've seen him used, but not sure if it's a SB ability or something.

It's both. Relm's SB from the second banner in her event summons Ultros.
The summon is a 8-hit+ chance to Blind on a single target while her SB is 3-4 AoE hits+ Blind. Those 8-hits are very weak though but they can break the 9999 cap with magic buffs.
All the other summons might receive the buff when we get it.

I'd pull for it if only Quistis' 2nd SSB hadn't already existed (Quistis' 2nd SSB is hastega + 3 use magic casting halved, this is same, but hastega replaced with dmg).

Yes, I had nothing of that and it either died in p2 or immediately after and like I said, I don't think I even had native 5* weapons for everyone.

Finished the last of the normal dungeons, an the orb daily non stop yesterday, still don't have decils rm. time to do regular farming now before starting on elites.

Plus side is I'm up to 106 mythril with over 100 elites available to do still.
