With my bad luck I just have the attitude that as long as I get a 5* I'm content. And if I get a character 5* I'm happy. I stopped hoping for specific weapons after I didn't get SSII, Boon, LH, PP or SG.

Wouldn't really surprise me honestly but I think the announcement came way too early for it to count as March 1st surprise. Maybe later when we usually get events and the usual announcements... but I wouldn't expect much considering nothing was data mined.

It's not, on the site it still says 3/1 "coming soon!", which means our surprise is at 5 pm PST.

I can assure you that no farmable thing is gonna be released tonight. Even Orbfests are announced one day early for that reason, the best we can hope for is a bunch of items and maybe a Lucky Banner.

++ dailies is a good guess but I think those come with a reward reset so you're gonna have to use stamina on the old difficulties as well.
