It's against my rules to use money for impatience But I will use mythrils for stamina in an Orbfest like event

I don't hate 6, but the characters do overlap so so much. You can literally ignore half of them and still have a solid team for the realm.

Edgar, Sabin, Shadow, Setzer, Gau, Strago and Kefka are all subpar. Poor Strago is trying to compete with Terra and Celes, an exercise in futility.

It doesn't help when Terra is a godqueen and Celes can run mage or spellblade effectively alongside her base SB. At least Locke looks to be getting a bump in utility with the release of Thief's Raid.

And yet he's not spectacular in any field.

Outside FFVI, you'd be hard pressed to utilize him over a PCecil, Beatrix, Steiner, Leon or Agrias as a tank, 3* support isn't that useful and his Soul Breaks are subpar.

Haha it's so true, it's why I don't bother with most of them. I still haven't gotten Squall's RM2, nevermind RM3. That fucker was level 57 when I started trying to get it and now he's 66. Not all of that exp is in VIII dungeons but I've still used him a ton in there

Terra Celes and Locke are almost the only FFVI characters that you might use in other realms (locke for the Thief Raid)

I use Strago in VI day because he can use summons now. 4/5 of the team AoEing is nice. But yeah, there are better VI options if you want straight nuking.

They overlap because what made them unique in the original game is only available through relics. If you have none of them they're all quite generic with few exceptions.

This is also true of 7... and yet they all have fairly defined roles in ffrk. No reason they couldn't have done that w/ the 6 characters as well.

As do Quistis and Irvine but they work real well together...pity their skills are lacking in some areas (like wtf you should have given some obvious skills out to some of these people).

6 more V elites to go, only 1 has stamina and it's that one you basically need a full mage team for. Hope I have even hones to clear trash. 2 more IV elites, Ogopogo is one of them. I really hate IV fights lol Lunasaurus sucked so bad, I had more trouble with them than I did and the last 2 ultimates combined. granted I didn't look them up, I brought a bad party. Feels good to be so close when I was so far behind. I've never been able to just do dailys, I'll probably get bored lol

Pretty sure she's not alone, off top of head I think Galuf and Selphie are among those who got RM2 after breaking MC2.

Mastered both Gabranth and Cloud/Terra ultimate+ in jp, now consistently clearing all bonus battles for events, can't wait for the bs ultimates so I can go from: "wow, this isn't too bad!" to: Omfg! Fuck this ultimate!".

pipe dream but I'm still hoping that the reason characters like Strago, Khimari, and Quistis are so lackluster is because they're going to add Blue Magic eventually.

I believe dats have been found for blue magic and DeNa has stated it is being worked on.

Barret and Red yes, but they do have rather distinct weapon selection, esp Barret with guns, and now he has Machinist.
How does Cait Sith overlap? he's more like secondary healer of the realm
