Hmmm so I have roughly 250 mythril to use up and through Tactics... I may buy an itunes card for the lucky pulls, pull on Banner 1, then throw 200 at Scream.

You shouldn't have to "spend" anything on the lucky banners. The free 25 mythril has been translated, so I'm going to take a leap here and say we're going to get the additional 50 with Ultros. 3 Lucky banners = 75 mythril.

Yeah I think 100 gem pulls only for me on ssb banners

Actually I might do a few pulls on the Locke one. It's the only banner I don't have any of the items from. I have 2 from all the rest except for phase 2 where I only have Save the Queen. But phase 2 seems shitty so meh.

Ok so I think best way to spend stamina during the Orb fest is something like this

Do Garnet Bonus tonight or max tomorrow AM
Do Orb phase 1-2 until you die in RL
Do Minwuu + Nightmare during Orb fest 3 (DU too if it's out) and make sure you do Orb phase P3 at least once for rewards
Do Yuna BSSB during Orb Phase 5

With 4-5 SSB per banner, I definitely got a lot more interested in SSB fest. I'm really only interested in Banner 1 + 5 though and *maybe* Banner 3 for Organics. Banner 1 having 5 SSBs is the best bang for your buck really.

I was going to put some mythril into tonight's banner, but garnets rod is in banner 5 so at least I can hold out for that now

Augh, I hate how close these banners are to FFT.

Banner 1 looks pretty nice for me because I use Bartz all the time, I like Zidane and I also wouldn't mind Red Scorpion
Banner 4 is tempting because Valiant Knife is bitching (I also love Locke) and I use Aeris for PP
Banner 5 is the biggest temptation because I don't have a Wall or decent AoE Heal which this banner covers very well. I also use Lightning for everything and use Gilgamesh a lot.

I have like 270 Mythril right now with me scampering through Elites (40 odd to go). I could maybe toss 150 at these and still end up with 150-200 for FFT which would be ok I guess...

If FFT wasn't right there on the horizon I would go in hard on Banner 5 and it's going to be really hard to resist that urge, especially if a 50 pull nets me nothing.

Peacemaker, Valiant Knife (this is the best option as Locke gets to level 80 now and he can get 5 hits with Thief Raid), Excalibur, Yoshiyuki and Machine Gun probably. Also Wizard Rod's RES buff stacks with everything else (unless it's another straight RES buff) so that's good to have as well.

Wizard's Rod is status 607, doesn't stack with everything like Lulu's which is its own thing. 607 is the same as Celes's RES, Rikku and Yuna's SB's. Still good though.

I may do a couple of 3 pulls for 5 since I only have 1/3 of the trinity and would kill for a built in wall and have Tyro become my healer or second mage. But other than that, I'm saving for tactics. I'm 103 mythril right now, can hopefully be close to 200-250 by the time tactics comes out.

It also feels like with these banners, lucky draws and power creep in general that we will all end up overhauling our teams very soon.

Which is both good and bad. Good because my A team has been set in stone for so long. Bad because I'll feel obligated to change with lots of new relics even though my current team beats everything pretty easily.

I'm tempted to pull on anything Bartz related because I'm a hopeless fanboy but Locke's knife looks it'd propel him to best THF coupled with Thief's Raid.

Since Day 1 I've gone from a physical meta backed with some early SBs to a mage meta in the SSB era (honing those -ga/-ja helped) with the hope to switch back to a physical meta by the time April's dust settles. It's clear with all this power creep that mages won't be able to keep up in the Screamo era.
