1/1 as well. Had some good luck with Shadowsteel, Sap stuck on 2nd cast and stayed on the entire fight.

I am just having shit luck. Best attempts have been with sk2 as my rw. Not having any sort of aoe cure is killing me at the end, and if I don't have wall with shell/protect up I get raped

Hard to say without seeing your entire setup, maybe consider running with 2 healers. Curaja on Tyro is good, and you can give him w/e else for the 2nd slot. I say Tyro because he's more versatile than a pure healer.

Well right off the bat I have to ask why you're using Venom Buster when he's only vulnerable to Sap. Magic Breakdown would be better there. There's actually a lot else I would change but maybe someone else has something quick. Lol

Only reason I have venom buster is Magic Breakdown is only honed to level 2, only enough orbs for one more boost. So one of those yeah I can have Sazh do that, and by the half way mark he's doing just regular attack. At least with venom buster, it's some semblance of damage.

Sure, but he's probably not doing too much now anyway and your problem is you're taking too much damage. If it's honed to R2 apply it at 100/75/50/25%. It's fine if Sazh has to not do anything. Since you have Cloud's SSB you should really replace Tempo Flurry with Lifesiphon. I'd also replace Dismissal on Yuffie with Steal Power or Steal HP.

Edit: Still have Sazh use regular attack to increase SB gauge

Yeah, I may just have to give up and break down some of my MPO's then. I have 43 GPO's right now, so I could get lifesiphon up to charge 6 but don't think I have enough for steal power or steal hp
