I'm sure some homeless people are very good at faking a injury / illness to get free bed and board for the night.

Thanks for the info on why that could happen, it does make sense. I suppose there's hospitals that deal with it more frequently than others as well.
More common in urban hospitals or academic centers than it is in community hospitals who aren't at capacity on a daily basis. The sickest people need help, and it's hard to help when the hospital fills up with people who don't have a place to live (idk maybe priced out of their rent) or by a demented grandmother whose family doesn't give a shit and wants the hospital to take care of it because insurance won't pay for long term care and the last facility was underfunded and staffed by people who consistently provide poor care.
Sure. The problem is us, the people calling all sorts of audibles to justify sheltering these people until we literally can't anymore.
BG medical peeps; I’m on both metformin and Ozimpic and the nausea is tearing me up. I’ve thrown up 3 times and haven’t eaten at all today.
I’ve started taking some anti-nausea chewables which seem to be helping but I’m a wreck.
Anything I can do besides asking the doctor to lower the ozimpic prescription?
Are you taking them at the same time?
Have you been on the metformin already? I think some primary care docs like to just dive in at 1000-2000mg daily and then wonder why patients don't want to take it after they spend a month with awful GI issues.
The ozimpic is a once a week dose. The metformin is daily.
What’s weird is I took the ozimpic on Monday and today is the problem day.
I’d previously been on just metformin with very few problems.
It's the Ozempic then. One of the most common side effects.
Pretty much.
@Kuro and others.
Looking for a new Endo in the San Diego area since mine isn't answering calls now and can't seem to book for my TRT. What is the difference between a DO and a MD and does it make a difference when looking for an Endo in your opinion?
Zero, and not usually. Depending on the practitioner, though, they may focus a little more on manipulative medicine but these days there's virtually no difference.
Awesome thanks, didn't want to limit myself if i didn't have to. I ended up having to get some T the ol fashion way from gym I used to go to because my endo and their receptionist just completely stopped picking up/answering calls and I have no refills or anything for my T. Trying to find a new one ASAP.
My tooth (that is half a tooth) is now moving when my tongue touches it. I needed to have it pulled years ago but i can't afford to go to the dentist. Lol i actually had an abcess on it that i just outlived the pain and the nerves in the tooth died
Red flag on the play. That's a bad route to take. Don't want your jaw bone or skull decaying because you let an abscess hang out there. Going to end up in the Mütter Museum...
