FFRK - Tempered Resolve (FFXII) Event & Boss Strats

The end gets especially nasty since I wasn't always guaranteed to get SG up before last phase, which honestly relied on Tyro getting hit early on with Spouts, the odd AoE, or even a pre-DF hit.

I had this issue too with getting LH back up. In the last fight Red got hit enough, but prior to that you'd have to slow down damage output like I did for Beatrix to make sure you get your SB gauge back up.

My problem with this asshole is his penchant for pulling his strikes out of his ass with that zero charge bullshit. It doesn't seem like break mechanics with well because I'll be fully mitigated and he'll still hit a quad for like 1300 a hit.

I don't think I'll bother trying for a master if this last run fails. Not worth the time.

3rd or 4th S/L got him to literally 1% with everyone alive, mitigated, and buffed and he pulled an instant back to back quadrastrike and took out 2 of my people. I should have just finished the fight but I'm being a perfectionist and want the mastery. Goddamn, what a cocksucker.

Exactly what happened to me. Every time I'm lining up my last round of attacks when he suddenly throws out back to back quads on the person casting mitigation or using a soul break or whatever... Every. Time.

Edit: Nailed it. Gave Ashe Darkra and Ysht Diaga and it went much better. Dia allowed me to build up SS faster and Darkra with Focus was capping every time.

Had to S/L a few times since he decided to Counter Reflect normal hits while Ashe was casting and it ended up killing someone but it was easier and manageable than before.

Easiest ultimate my ass.

Mastered Ultimate without any S/Ls. I'd still rate him higher on the difficulty than Godo just because he gets really nasty near the end with the multi hits.

Many SLs and this guy can eat a bag of cocks, but mastered it; started with seph using HH RW, tyro SG, rinoa spamming meteor, zell spamming tempo on adds. Had tyro steal power on vossler since he aoes like a mofo, then had rest zerg adds. Then had zell and seph build sbs, apply debuffs, then min he entered double strike mode, recasted SG and had zell use burning rave. Halfway, reused HH then spammed SBs and keeping debuffs up.

Lost first time I got him low, cause triple/quad would still hit for 1k a hit, when I realized, protectga probably wore first time, second time recasted it midway and they went down to 200ish a hit, he killed lenna right before finishing blow, so thank christ we are allowed one death.

Once again it helps to have a proposed setup.... With Voss you'll need Haste, Dispel, Protect, AoE magic of some kind, breaks, and a lot of damage potential.

Use the RW to fill in the holes.

Lots of s/l like some people said just one person getting rushed or criticaled at the start makes it rough. Had cloud and bartz burn the shit out of him from 70% to 0 lol 3 blade beam and 2 lupine rush and he was toast the attack bonus from gaufs rw helped that push used it on cloud first then a turn later bartz. Hp some how got time right and he didn't touch cloud after it wore. Just happy to master it and move on.

Lupine rush vs his one hit SB when we can't sap the boss anyways. Wanted to burn him once he got 70% wouldn't of been able to with vann and no he's 65.

Did it at 2AM last night while sleepy, so had to do it again today for mastery. At quadrastrike, backrow Balthier tanked with drain strike till yuna accidentally capped her own HP from HOTF's regen (whoops). Balt/Vaan/Yuna/Terra (protectra soulbreak)/Tyro (FB/haster). Used this as an excuse to create/hone curaja but got exactly 1 cast off between maduin/hymn spam. A more intricate fight than it seems.

Had lots of issues during the add phase despite having HH, Protectga, Power Breakdown and Full Break <_< With the adds gone I killed him right away and mastered.

GDI I hit cure on the wrong character and vossler quad hit the wrong person just before I killed him and it cost me the master win -.- fuck those 4 major obs, I'm done with this
