FFRK - The Malice Within (FFV) Events & Boss Strats

The fight is easy when I figured I should bounce spells off my own characters to avoid counter. He does counter whirlwind or whatever it is and it does massive damage even thru SS2. I thought it was like a Demi/Gravity thing but it killed my characters at one point, is that physical or something?

Hurricane takes off 75% of your current HP, so it couldn't have killed you. Maybe you were thinking about Vacuum Wave?

Yeah Vacuum Wave, I had Shell and SS2 on and it still does like 1~1.4k. Still won but had to reset a few times due to it.

No, it's Seymour Flux. He's physical for the most part.

Somehow despite clearing all the other Ultimates in 3 resets or less, Necrophobe just took me 6 resets even though everyone else seemingly found him easy.

3 resets due to killing someone before I even got an action off.
1 reset due to Triple Vacuum Wave
1 reset due to Vacuum Wave > Hurricane > Vacuum Wave
1 reset due to Hurricane > Vacuum Wave

What was weird was that he wasn't doing what his AI was supposed to do. In all 3 of those solo form resets, 2 of the moves came in quick succession without me getting an action in between. Which I know he can do at low health but all of them were at Weak health or higher where it shouldn't be possible. 1 of them even ignored his '5th turn Flash' thing. I know that for sure as it was at high health after barrier break, he did Sap > Hurricane (as scripted) > Vacuum Wave x3

Then on my winning run, went down like an absolute chump. It was just so bizarre.

Sounds like my experience with Ultimate Exdeath except he wasn't bugged or anything but just cheap with his counter Hurricane> double AoE or single target on THAT character. For like 7-8 times in a row.

After Vossler, I'm pretty much convinced that sometimes these AIs break somewhere. Likely as a result of S/Ling.

His AI was definitely broke as he kept using Hurricane all fight too and apparently isn't supposed to (not as a counter either, I had no magic). He also didn't cast an aja in solo form a single time in all 7 attempts. He only used Attack, Flare, Hurricane, Vacuum Wave and Sap. I dont know if it was a result of not taking Protect and have an auto reflect RM on (which was silly in hindsight).
