    First episode is promising, in my opinion. Not familiar with the source material, though.

    Watched it last night, it's pretty good. They left a lot of things out of the initial few chapters of the book, some of which I am fine with and some of which disappoint me, but nothing truly infuriating (yet). It seems to be fairly faithful so far in spirit if not detail, so hopefully it maintains that.

    A limited series is definitely how this thing should have played out, though. Just like Under the Dome should have been, but wasn't.
