Damn, oh well. I'm wondering since he's break resistant to give sazh venom shot instead of full break (keep Magic breakdown) and swap tidus for yuffie for sap/steal power

Went with HH and found it went incredibly smooth, only problem is I had to SL 2 wins because Sap refused to land. I found going HH > 75% UD > SG and zell's burning rave, bum rush him to 50%, proc 2nd UD, then use SG (his aoes gave Tyro 2 charges of SG) + HH + MB would make total annihilation do 500-700 dmg, then SB bum rush him (had to hold back first 2, because I wanted to proc sap on Seph's SSB). Jecht with his stun SB made him MVP for delaying Seymour for Yuna to heal the group.
Also, Rata, didn't use your HH, cause I used it earlier on elite Wendigo.

Jesus that was annoying. So Seymour's first move after the first ultimate dispel is Gravija, and his first move after the second is total annihilation? That was 100% the case for me during my 15+ s/l's. Had to have everything timed perfectly and no bad rng with like a cross cleave to the face right before ultimate dispel. First time I've ever mastered an ultimate fight with 1 dead. From time to time the first ultimate dispel actually missed all my mages an only hit tyro.

For those having issues, there's a Drawtaliate strat with Auron that makes the fight pretty easy.
I couldn't find any HH RW, so I just stuck with SG. This was actually a really easy Ultimate, took Ruinga, Meteor, magic/power breakdown, tempo, lisesiphon, shellga + protectga, curaja and venom buster. Just burnt through the first 50% of his health without SG, then timed SG and Eikos AoE heal + hastega so they landed right as his dispel hit. Then put up protectga and shellga.
Was smooth sailing from there, his annihilation only did around 600 damage, and he only had time to use it twice before he died. And the second one only went off because I had to slow down on the damage to get Poison to land...
All in all I'd say these have been among the easiest bonus fights so far.
Sap is better than Poison btw so Shadowsteel is worth considering for this Ultimate (or certain SBs if you happen to have those).
What you mean?, both sap and poison are 3% of max HP afaik
Sap is faster.
Sap is every 2 sec and poison is every 5, no? To make up for that poison is permanent whereas sap lasts 40 sec.
It's really personal preference, I just brought Poison because I've had horrible chance making Sap proc and wanted to see if Poison was easier.
Ah the more you know
God damn I hate Seymour. First time I fought him it went flawless, now he's mad and spams Lance and Cross Cleave like every two turns.
Easy 1/1 with this pimped party. Really didn't need that extra cure

Back to elites I guess.. so far behind.
people on Reddit are all "farm spectral keeper, drops MPOs like crazy!"
0/7, 5 summon orbs and one GLO. dagummit
at least yunas RM dropped
At least it's pretty much auto-attack simple and quite cheap, so it's not like it takes a great deal of time to farm it.
To be fair, Sap is worth it for every single ultimate that isn't immune to it imo.

1/1'd this, but slow never landed so time for a redo :/
