I really like the idea of incorporating Rotom into the Pokedex. It's one of those things you never think to consider, but when it happens you're like "why didn't they do this before?".
Solgaleo has one of the best typings in the game in Psychic/Steel. Really upset that Lunala is Psychic/Ghost, but hopefully the Shadow Shield ability covers the 4x ghost weakness.
I think this is honestly the first time that the male trainer is better designed than the female one. Those pants though...
Really never? They were unstoppable in gen 1. I really don't care much for lengendaries anyways. Think imma go with moon Ver.
On btw Kirin Thxs for the advice on picking up ORAS after taking a break from Pokemon for 15 years. I just beat it the other day. I enjoyed it. Playing through Y now.
Rotom-dex is brilliant!
Lunala would also be 4x weak to dark. Guessing that shadow shield nulls ghost or dark to make up for it. If it nulls both then it doesn't have any weaknesses.
Brotom confirmed.
And apparently shadow shield just reduces dmg if you get hit at full HP. Kind of sucky, but at least it's not pressure.
I won't be able to make my mind up on which version I want until the games drop at this rate. Both legendaries appeal to me but in different ways and trading is shiteasy nowadays so version exclusive pokeymans aren't a big deal.
No problem. Glad it was an enjoyable decision!
I really think they gave Lunala the short end of the short stick here. 4x weaknesses to 2 very common metagame types with a weak ability to compensate. The saving grace seems to be that Moongeist Beam ignores opponents ability, so I'm wondering how that can be applied.
KO pokemon with sturdy? idk... But yeah, that typing really sucks. Ghost/(pretty much anything else) would have been better.
What's so special about Rotomdex
But how? Why is everyone so excited and think it's so cool.
Because Rotom was a badass that can take over an oven, a lawnmower, a dishwasher, or a desk fan and wreck shit.
I know it probably won't happen, but how cool would a Rotom-P be?
Honestly, it's just a neat way to add personality to the pokedex while expanding on some in-game mythology with Rotom.
Not everyone. I don't particularly like Rotom to begin with, but a talking pokedex might be cool. Or annoying. We'll see. Hopefully we'll be able to customize outfits like in X/Y because otherwise the female main is pretty tragic.
Yeah I might go male trainer for once instead of that thing.
