I mean, you might be right about it meaning Large Large, but I never saw it used before and XL is definitely used in most countries.
I saw someone say it means Ludicrously Large lol.
I fucking love the yellow ds. I ran to my fiancee to show her it to see if she wanted one. For a while she was stealing my link between world's ds to play Mario and such but stopped, this is an excuse to get her a ds and into handheld games.
Still sad NA didn't get the black Charizard one.
Battle Royale is gonna be loads of fun. It's one of the directions I thought they'd go awhile ago, glad to see it implemented.
Still waiting for the day when your team fights non-pokemon bosses a'la Team Rocket mechs that have several thousand HP.
I'm sure they thought of these and countless other battle styles years ago and have had to spread the implementation thereof slowly across generations. They're experts at making minute, generic, genre-established tweaks over time seem like huge breakthroughs.
Yeah that also makes it harder to replay the older ones, at least for me. Kinda like how Disgaea does the same thing. I kinda dislike how the roulette ends once someone loses all their Pokemon, it should go to the last one.
Play-Asia listed a page with a new Pokemon SM XL for pre-order. It's the Asian version but is compatible over here in the states. Personally I like the Pikachu one I posted before but they're both XLs so meh.

We'll probably get the english version tomorrow, but new trailer showing off more new pokemon.
English version
also that is one ugly fish
I have never not just named my Pokemon the default name, but if I get a Drampa I'm naming it Falcor.
Normal/Dragon is fantastic typing if it has high base attack
I'm pretty sure that ugly fish is based on a real life hawaiian fish but yeah not that ugly.
I'm a little curious about the prevalence of bug types. I know they're generally starter area pokemon like Weedle and Caterpie, but I'm wondering if Bug types are going to get a boost with this generation. Either an across the board stat boost or better move selections.
Looks like it's based on the "Napoleon fish" or humphead wrasse. And yeah it's that ugly in real life, if not uglier.
Whatdya think? Or does Dunsparce stay... dunsparce?
