I sure hope there are new ways to get the megastones in Sun/Moon >< I'd rather be spared the Pokeys in Tiaras bs. Thanks

Arceus code gone!
Apparently the entire Alolan pokedex has leaked online, it doesn't include the alolan forms of older pokemon though, just the newest ones. Spoilered for obvious reasons
Spoiler: show
If that's legit, especially about possible branch-evolution starters, that's pretty big. 722-825 would put that at what, 104 new pokemon not counting Alolan forms or (unmentioned) branch evolutions or megas.
I spot a Fighting/Ground, Ice/Fighting and Dragon/Fighting in there so I'm already pretty stoked if that's true.
Also Dragon/Steel is pretty solid typing, just wish it showed the secondary typing for some of the /Various
There's also a little note that you can't get pre-Alolan forms of existing pokemon unless you import them.
Looking back over, Dark/Electric looks neat too and based on dex listing it would be the Dragonite/Metagross/Haxorus etc pseudo-legend stats 'mon. Also somehow missed Grass/Fire and Normal/Dragon.
Am I mistaken or are there a decent amount of first-time type pairings on that list? I think that's pretty cool
Water type Arcanine... Oh god.. please be blue and watery and pretty.
Arcanine and Ninetales were my favorite Gen 1s. Fire use to be my favorite type back in Gen 1, but now as an adult I lean more towards Water/Ice. So having Ninetales become Ice and Arcanine become Water is just the absolute shit.
There are several interesting names and typings on that list. It's kind of hyping me up a bit. Really want to see what they look like. Would love for some more awesome Dragon types to collect.
Theres another leak linked to at the bottom of the article with some interesting gameplay information as well.
With Ash's Greninja in game, I wonder if theyll allow us the chance to catch Kalos starters and if the "endgame" trainer battle will be Kalos Ash with the reward being a Mega evolution stone for Ash-Greninja.The anime’s Ash-Greninja will appear in the game.
The previous versions of Pokémon which have taken on new forms will only be accessible by bringing in from older games.
Furfrou gets new styles.
New cat Pokémon varies in type and appearance based on breeding.
There is a new snowman Pokémon line with two stages and it is Ice/Ghost.
Not to get hopes up, but there may be two final evolutions for each starter.
Some of those type combos really have me excited for VGC rules in 2017. I've skipped most of 2016 VGC, but was really active in 2015. It'll be nice to get back into it.
I just hope some of the designs are a bit better than they have been, and are somewhat strong. Since their introduction I've always used Allakhazam and Scizor and wrecked face. They're great, I'd just like something new.
I hope the Alternate form Nidos/Abras end up being true, cause I was originally going to send my shiny Nidoran Female and Abra over to Sun/Moon to use in the beginning lol.
While I don't think gen 3/4 had the greatest overall designs, I've found (after going through all of them up to 6th gen) that most of my favorites are either from gen3 (Mawile, Metagross, Blaziken, Rayquaza, among others) or one of the gen4 pokemon that evolved from something in a previous gen (Gallade, Gliscor, Togekiss, Froslass, Leafeon).
One thing that never ceases to surprise me is that despite power creep being very strong as the generations have been going, Gengar (not even Mega Gengar) has always been really good.
I forgot Gengar, he's usually in my team. Allakhazam/Scizor/Gengar/Gyrados have been my 4 go-to pokes for as long as I can remember. They're just so good. Though to be fair, I really love the T-Rex from X/Y. Awesome design and solid stats. Forget its name.
I'm not trying to be one of those hipster "the old stuff was the best!" types, but...they really got them right the first time.I tend to use the same ones too lol, Kadabra because I can never seem to care to evolve him and a few others I've used since like GEN 1 lol.
I like some of the designs in this one, but the rasta horse is kind of lame, and the black/pink bear...thing is fuck awful. Holy shit. It looks like a 3 year old's drawing was made into a pokemon.
But then every now and then they produce a completely awesome monster like Garchomp.
I have my main go to pokemons but I still like to try out some new teams every gen.
Alolan meowth looks rly stupid
also these

Good lord. Those are bad too, haha. Meowth looks like he feels faaaaabulous.
I DO like the new Marowak, though. Wonder what type it is. Looks like ghost or ghost/ground possibly?
